      <description><![CDATA[<p>Installed 4.10 after my GoZ bridge started crashing zbrush.&nbsp; I don&#39;t know exactly how to describe what happened next so I sent a picture.&nbsp; Anyone know what&#39;s up with that.&nbsp; Oh and Daz won&#39;t uninstall in DIM, its not in programs and features, and in the windows folder the uninstall option did not work.&nbsp; Anyone got any ideas?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I know that it is usually best to have a key/fill light and some rim lights. My question is, do the rim lights need to have shadows on? I am talking in 3dl here. I know that in real life every light casts a shadow, but it irks me when, say, in an outdoor scene, you see competing shadows on the ground. I suppose it is just preference, but I thought I would ask.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<h1>UltraHD Iray HDRI With DOF - Pines Beach</h1>

<p>I set up an indoor scene and used the HDRI image for a background&nbsp;view out of the window.&nbsp; I now need to change that the background, but I can&#39;t figure out how to get rid of the image.&nbsp; I&#39;ve gone so far as to delete every visible item in the scene and the HDRI image still shows up when I render.&nbsp; I&#39;ve tried checking in the environment settings, but I haven&#39;t&nbsp;been successful in fiuguring out wher and how the HDRI image loads into the scene.</p>

<p>I really like the lights and the way the background works,&nbsp; I just need to get rid of it for now.</p>

<p>Any hints?&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi. I have a problem fitting clothes&nbsp;to Genesis 3. I make clothes with Marvelous Designer and modify them with Blender. Then I import&nbsp;them in Daz Studio and fit to Genesis 3, which is the model I used in Marvelous. The shirts and top of dresses, etc,&nbsp;look fine with that, but when I morph Genesis 3 (Victoria 7, e.g.) appears that glitches underbreast. I tried to fix it with weight map, but don&#39;t fix anything. I tried modify the cloth, making it more large in the underbreast zone, but neither fix it.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Maybe the solution is very simple, but I don&#39;t know Daz Studio very well and I&#39;ve been&nbsp;working with it a little time. I will appreciate any help.&nbsp;</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Sorry if this is a redundant question. I think I've seen entries on the topic, but I can't find them, now.</p>

<p>I'm one-month-new to DAZ Studio, using 4.5, and I don't know what I did / may have done / didn't do to cause this situation, but it didn't always used to happen. </p>

<p>When I apply morphs to a figure, or change the pose, the figure distorts radically during the process, and reverts to normal, morphs and pose changes included, after I release the slider. </p>

<p>Aside from making measured adjustments problematic, because I can't see how much change is applied until after the fact, it makes animation unusable, in that the distorted transitions are animated as well. </p>

<p>As an example, if I reposition a shin in any direction, the shin shrinks up like a stick while I'm moving it, then reverts immediately to its normal shape as soon as I'm done moving it. Very weird, very annoying.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I want to know if <span>FG College Outfit for Genesis 8 Female(s) is compatible with dForce, or does it fall apart/explode etc.&nbsp;</span>I have asked the Help desk this question but presumably they are busy as I have not had a reply yet.</p>

<p>So, perhaps someone who has bought the outfit (or even the PA) can tell me how the outfit responds when a dForce simulation is applied.</p>

<p>There is no mention of dForce compatability in the advertising so my default assumption is that the clothing is not compatible, but I would like to know one way or the other for sure.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi folks, I am looking at building a new PC specifically for use with DAZ Studio. The choice of GPU card is confusing me: Nvidia has a range of &quot;Quadro&quot; cards and there are also&nbsp; the &quot;gaming&quot; cards e.g. the GTX 1080 Ti - would it be better to get e.g. a Quadro P4000 card or a GTX 1080 for DAZ?&nbsp; The prices look about the same but the GTX 1080 Ti seems to have more power. &nbsp; Supposedly the Quadro is made for &quot;industrial&quot; use but surely a gamer would put a pretty heavy and constant load on their GPU too, right?</p>

<p>I just want iRay render power for my buck.</p>

<p>This is my first 1440p monitor. I have set my DPI scaling to 150% in Windows, but it looks like DS is defaulting to the base 100%. Is there a way to adjust any of this in the UI?</p>

<p>I looked at preferences under &quot;Interface&quot; but I didn&#39;t see anything that will help with this. I&#39;m sure others have asked this question, but I searched the forum and could not find an answer.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi, I was planning to import&nbsp;an item of&nbsp;Daz clothing into Marvelous Designer for the&nbsp;cloth simulation and then import it back into Daz again for morphs; however, much of the clothing&nbsp;has unwelded geometry and just falls apart in MD simulation. Is their any way of welding a garment together? I have Blender but I&#39;m no expert.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I removed 4.10 and want to downgrade to a previous installer of studio. I have 4.9. The installer for 4.9 goes all the way through to the end where it sort of halts at installing daz content management service.</p>

<p>It doesn&#39;t freeze, it just says &#39;installing daz content management service&#39; and then the bar just vibrates like it is doing something... But it does not.</p>

<p>I&#39;m a bit concerned. I assumed it was possible to downgrade studio.... But this experience has made me wonder.</p>

<p>There is a brief readme that says there is an uninstaller for daz content manager service. But I don&#39;t seem to have one. I used dim to perform the uninstall of 4.10</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I bought some merchant resource morph packages to make a new figure figure. In part I just wanted to play with morphs and get started with G8, but I also had in mind that I might eventually want to become a PA with custom characters, based on merchant-resource-morphs and my own sculpting work. After exporting the Daz-morph-free, level-zero figure, doing some sculpting, and brinding the objs back in as a head and body morphs, I got a great character, but clothes don&#39;t fit her chest.&nbsp;</p>

<p>I don&#39;t own many G8 clothes, but they all had the same problem. &nbsp;I don&#39;t feel I could sell a figure with this problem, even at a store with lower quality control standards than Daz, and I&#39;m not happy about it for my personal use.&nbsp;Is there a way to work around this? If I made a morph only for the chest, would that make a difference?</p>

<p>In DAZ i get the Photoshop DAZ bridge option but in Photoshop i do not get this option. Ive checked and in Install Manager it is setup to the correct folder where Photoshop CS6 exe file is residing.</p>

<p>Just does not give me the option in Photoshop.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Some time ago, I created a custom morph.&nbsp; I don&#39;t remember if I made a morph go from one figure to another, but I definitely edited the mesh in hexagon.&nbsp; I made a dial for G2.&nbsp; I noticed at the time, but didn&#39;t udnerstand why or how much, that there was some oddness with the eyes.</p>

<p>I read about &quot;eye rotation&quot; and how to solve it--I&#39;m not sure they are describing the same problem.&nbsp; Here, the problem is that the eyeballs are in the right place, but the iris and pupil are in the wrong place on the eyeball.&nbsp; The &quot;hole&quot; where they should be shows the inside of the head through the back, as the iris/pupil is off-center.</p>

<p>Is there anyway to fix this?&nbsp; The morph was good, and to be honest, right now I can barely remember the steps I used to make the morph work so well.&nbsp; I have the object file--I think I should have deleted the eyeballs (or made them invisible) before exporting the original figure to the mesh to edit in Hexagon.&nbsp; But I didn&#39;t, and although I can load it in Hex, the eyes are still there.</p>

<p>Ideally, there&#39;s some hidden way I don&#39;t udnerstand to plop those pupils back in their holes in the eyeballs, but I wouldn&#39;t be surprised if that is not a thing that can be fixed.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>So, everytime I try to load a character that I&#39;ve altered from the base characters, DAZ pops up this error message:</p>

<p>&quot;Duplicate formulas found in files. Make sure that the content is properly installed. See the log file for more details.&quot;</p>

<p>I&nbsp;<em>have</em>&nbsp;looked into the log files and... I have no idea what I&#39;m looking at. There are a number of things that show up as WARNINGs, but I don&#39;t know if they&#39;re relevant to my problem, where I could find them, or how I could fix them. I&#39;m hoping someone here can tell me, hopefully in plain English for Luddite idiots who probably shouldn&#39;t be allowed to handle a computer, how to beat this freaking error into submission.</p>

<p>Attached is the log file for a simple base model with costume. If actually digging through the log file is too much (and I totally understand if it is), I&#39;ve done my best to simplify the task by including a sample of each kind of error message that I&#39;m finding, below:</p>

<p>I&#39;ve tried to pin a character using powerpose pane or a shortcut with daz version 4.10.123 but it doesn&#39;t work either with gen8 or gen3</p>

<p>Does anybody have the same problem ?</p>

<p>I am using HDRI backgound, Cake &amp; Bob Pines Beach.</p>

<p>I am getting giant footprints in the sand, and changing the Dome Scale Multiplier and Dome Radius does not appear to control this. Is there a way to change the footprints to right size?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Is there a way to turn off limits on Iray shader parameters en masse? I mean for the entire shader.</p>

<p>I have a character with Iray mats, but trying to copy the torso settings to the gen prop didn&#39;t work. it looked fine in viewport, but rendered way off.</p>

<p>I finally realized that there are default limits on some Iray parameters, and the Iray settings of the character were much higher, so I had to turn of limits and input the correct settings manually, one at a time, to match the torso settings that load with the mat. Time consuming and awkward. With the prop loaded, the torso mat doesn&#39;t automatically load to it. In 3DL this is simple, a quick copy-paste.</p>

<p>I looked, but couldn&#39;t find any way to just turn limits off in the Iray shader tab.</p>

<p>As I move more into Iray rendering of portraits, it could get real annoying to have to always redo individual Iray parameters manually in cases like this.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>When I use the Genesis 3 to Genesis 8 Pose converter script, the window of the converter script opens.&nbsp; I point to a target folder for the converted files and then I point to the folders and subfolders of the Gen 3 poses.&nbsp; The script runs through all the files and a window opens telling me that it has been completed, but when I go to the targeted folder, there is nothing in the folder.&nbsp; What am I doing wrong.&nbsp; I am using Windows 10 and Daz Studio 4.10.&nbsp;</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hey guys,</p>

<p>So, as of last Monday I&#39;ve been having this problem with Daz. After I downloaded some new products with the DIM and tried them out, Daz suddenly started to crash whenever I try to Auto-Fit a Genesis 3 product to a Genesis 8 actor. Everything else still seems to work fine, it&#39;s just the autofitting I seem to have troubles with. I tried to un- and reinstall the items, updated my drivers and anything else I could think of, but nothing has worked so far.</p>

<p>So now, everytime I try to autofit, Daz crashes, I get a &#39;Fatal Error&#39; report and a line of code that says the following:&nbsp;</p>

<p>DAZStudio.exe caused ACCESS_VIOLATION in module &quot;C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\DzCore.dll&quot; at 0033:00000000B9F356E0, DzPropertyGroup::getTree()</p>

<p>I&#39;ve included the error report and I&#39;ve also already sent a Help Ticket, but I&#39;d just like to know if there is someone out there that can make more sense of this than I can and possibly give me a solution? It would be greatly appreciated at least, I have no clue what caused the sudden change and I&#39;d be really happy if someone knew how to fix this.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi. I started to learn 3delight lately and try to create mesh ligthing for my figure. All manuals say there are omnifreaker UberEnvironment settings included in DAZ. But I didn&#39;t found it in my content library folder. I&#39;ve even reinstalled DAZ, but nothing new appeared. I presume I can delete it accidentally, when was chaging content folder&#39;s structure. Is there any way to put UberEnvironment settings back? Can I install them separately?</p>
