      <description><![CDATA[<p>My system is using a GTX 1070 and a GTX 980, which worked together, or individually quite well until yesterday. I modified a scene I was working on so it would fit on both cards, but Daz went immediately to CPU and the display driver crashed. Restarted PC and repeated, same result. Tried a different scene that I know to have worked on both cards previously, same result, driver crash, fall back to CPU. Even just a primitive sphere in an empty scene causes an out of memory crash and cpu render.&nbsp;</p>

<p>If I now uncheck Optix Acceleration, I get my 1070 back, but the 980 is returning an error saying &lsquo;device cannot be used as it does not support mapped memory (canMapHostMemory)&rsquo;. I didn&rsquo;t have a problem with it yesterday. Feeling frustrated.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Yesterday, I had a Genesis 2 basic female figure, it was in smart content, I know, I loaded it and used it. Today, no G2 basic female. Eh?</p>

<p>Can&#39;t explain what happened but I do know that I need to download and install a replacement. So the big question is; where do I go, who do I see, how can I do this?</p>

<p>Okay, that&#39;s three questions but you know what I mean.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I have the 50s fabulous Morphing Chair.</p>

<p>Based on reading the forums and playing around in DS, I began creating my own Categories and sorting my products.&nbsp; (What a tedious &quot;adventure.&quot;)&nbsp; Yes, my file installation folders match between DIM and DS.&nbsp; Yes,&nbsp; I know how to find the installed files location and view them in explorer.&nbsp; I believe I have looked through every folder in Daz Studio Format, Poser Format, Products, and Lost &amp; Found, but the only files I can find are those pictured below.&nbsp; Those are found in Daz Content -&gt; Props -&gt; PoisenedGreen Props.&nbsp; The morphs and textures are also installed - but for the life of me, I cannot find them in DS.&nbsp; I would appreciate it, if someone could please tell me where to find them.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I am sure this is a TOPIC that has been covered over and over (I know i have posted a few ).... I do think mine is slightly different.</p>

<p>I have attached a part of a larger image and as you can see very grainy. I have extra lighting setup in the Club scene and most of my renders in different camera angles work and looks good. However this scene with them sitting it just does not want to render fine. The settings i have are the same for all my other renders in teh club so i know it works. IF i apply too much lighting the white couches becomes very washed out.</p>

<p>I have 4 models in the image and then the Club seats, glasses, table etc... I seem to have difficulty with certain props i use and others are fine. I am using ILPK lighting which i know works and Dome and Scene selected. I am trying to get a slightly dark feel (as its in a club) but without the graininess...</p>

<p>I find myself needing to use the MRL Amara Braids for Genesis 3 and 8 Female(s) on a G8M. It comes in okay and fits great but once there, all the morphs that are associated with the hair are gone. Is there something I&#39;m doing wrong?&nbsp;</p>

<p>No other hair really looks right on this character but I do need to be able to utilize the movement morphs.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Any thoughts?</p>

Over the last week I've not been able to complete renders or cancel them. They seem to hang at the 3 to 30 min mark and freeze my computer. It's not a too much in the scene problem as I'm not using anything complex don't have other programs open etc.  I can't hit cancel I can't, task manager, I get no error msg. The render just hangs for hours and nothing happens.  I have to force shut off my computer. Thoughts or ideas?]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Okay. I&#39;ve finished my reinstall of everything and now want to take on IRAY.</p>

<p>There is a subheading under Daz Connect that is: Shader Presets&gt;Iray&gt;NVIDIA MDL Examples.&nbsp; (This in no way implys I understand anything else about these.)</p>

<p>Anyway: There&#39;s little spheres on bases that are marked Shader above and various items like Architectural and Asphalt below.</p>

<p>What am I supposed to do with these. (Now I will try to figure this out in-between customers coming in, etc.) Thanks.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>i am trying to light up a room with a model standing in front of a mirror. i used a spotlight which i set the geometry to a disc then set the width and height to 100. when i render, the spotlight emitter can be seen reflected&nbsp;in the mirror as a white disc eventhough i had turn off the render emitter setting. aside from the obvious to position the light so it does not get reflected, is there a way to avoid this?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I downloaded a guitar and added it to my runtime library, it&#39;s an .obj so it doesn&#39;t show up in Daz Studio and I have to import it when I want it.</p>

<p>So far I&#39;ve tried importing it then saving it as things like support asset (figure/prop asset) and even a scene, both give me a .duf file that doesn&#39;t show up in Daz Studio. I&#39;ve also tried exporting it as a .cr2 file but that asks to select a skeleton from a blank list.</p>

<p>I don&#39;t think I&#39;m trying to do anything too fancy here, I just want to save it in a format that shows up in Daz Studio so I can add it to the props folder in my categories for easy access.</p>

<p>Any help/advice appreciated</p>

<p>Huh, it was installed... &nbsp;oh, I see, it&rsquo;s only a BRYCE product, and I can&rsquo;t really complain because it&rsquo;s clearly listed as such. &nbsp;Huh...</p>

<p>So, is there any NICE and EASY WAY to convert a&nbsp;<span>OBP file with the MTL to Daz, or dae format where I wouldn&rsquo;t need to manually set the materials to their proper placements?</span></p>

I place the jacket (obj made in Marvelous Designer) and when&nbsp; I apply transfer utility it works fine if I have little movements, but when I have wide movements, here starts the problems. As you see in the picture, with transfer utility on the jacket are shown ugly artifacts, so I thought to resolve with dforce hoping to fit better the jacket on the character, but slowly the jackets seems to explode. Please someone could help me, what&rsquo;s wrong?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Bottem Line:&nbsp; How do I keep body deformers from deforming a bodysuit a second time?</p>

<p>I&#39;m getting this hilarious but frustrating problem when I import a uniform from both Cinema 4d and Zbrush.&nbsp; And the weird thing is it doesn&#39;t always happen.&nbsp; I&#39;m using the g2m bodysuit (which I love).&nbsp; I&#39;m painting it myself so I need to apply a UV in zbrush and also stitch the magus collar onto it in Cinema so its one uniform.&nbsp; When I reimport the new bodysuit my muscle dude turns into steriods gone wrong dude.&nbsp; It looks like its reapplying the deformers and effectively doubling them.&nbsp; In my female superhero by the way, her chest gets bigger though that&#39;s kind of weird because I didn&#39;t deform the g2f&#39;s chest in any way.&nbsp; If I had to guess, that&#39;s a clue.</p>

<p>If I export a g2m bodysuit either alone in the scene or in an undeformed default g2male, everything&#39;s fine.&nbsp; But my muscle guy&#39;s UVs get messed up around the seams because of the deformation that occurs when I fit it to the model that zbrush&#39;s UV master can&#39;t&nbsp; take into account. &nbsp; And since I have this hex pattern on the bodysuit it really shows.</p>

<p>I&#39;ve exported to zbrush with deformers on and off.&nbsp; I&#39;ve tried exporting in an FBX with the deformers turned off.&nbsp; I&#39;ve had some success lowering the deformers but it doesn&#39;t look like it should.&nbsp;</p>

<p>This is happening when I use the Daz internal bridge to zbrush.&nbsp; And I won&#39;t touch the model in zbrush except to apply the new uv map which I make on a clone.&nbsp; And since its also happening importing an OBJ from Cinema 4d (as well as fbx), my focus for the problem is Daz.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Daz had to have taken current deformation into account when creating the bridge.&nbsp; Its got to be something I&#39;m missing.&nbsp; Plus it doesn&#39;t always happen.&nbsp; Though I haven&#39;t been able to recreate a success in a while.&nbsp; So I don&#39;t know.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I do not know if I need or should export to Zbrush erlier version or not but here is what I am trying to do. I have several scenes and characters that I want someone else to work on because I like their rendering style and they are more the artist than me. They do not have the same daz assets as I have so I have to export the model&nbsp;(i&#39;m guessing) in a non-daz format so it can be opened in Zbrush. The artist uses an earlier version of Zbrush and therefore the goZ file created by the newest versions of daz and zbrush will not work. How can I get around this? Is OBJ my only option and if so is there a tutorial out there on how to export textures and import them into Zbrush without the hassle of reapplying them one by one?</p>

<p>I&#39;ve tried shrinking the z-scale but that makes them an angular when bent.</p>

<p>I&#39;ve also tried joint editor but that only makes other bones too long.</p>

<p>When I put on the Iconic <a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.daz3d.com/iconic-mfd-bundle-1-for-genesis-8-females">MFD Bundle 1 for Genesis 8 Female(s)</a> it looks like pic 1.&nbsp; No problem, so far... but when I &#39;select&#39; it to choose a color or style, I get the menu in the second pic.&nbsp; Normally you get the Default / Materials and select from there what you want, but I cannot change the dress to any of the morfs because they are not there.&nbsp; Pic 3 shows it is installed and no updates needed, etc.&nbsp; I deleted the product and re-downloaded it.&nbsp; I have tried the dress on just the base G8 as well as several G8 characters.&nbsp; Always the same.&nbsp; What&#39;s up with this dress?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi. I am not that good with zbrush and Daz, but i usually manage to get where ever I want. There is an annoying thing that always gets me when morphing&nbsp;shirts on G3Fs.&nbsp; It seems their is a weird line of mesh under the breast that is really hard to get to when on zbrush. Its hard to explain, it is the ridge just in between the underbreast where the torso begin. I have great difficulty moving that part to get where I can flatten the shirt (so the shirt dont go under the breasts). I need&nbsp;tips!</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p><span>[Getting a progress bar during rendering in DS?] </span>I&#39;m asking this because I opened DS today to work on a saved scene, hit render and I get this progress bar across the viewport I&#39;ve never had this before. Then when the progress bar finishes the scene doesn&#39;t look rendered. It turns out the finished render is opening up in a separate window. Is this something new or do I have an issue with DS?&nbsp; I wanted to add it&#39;s the same progress bar you see when you do a spot render and I did&#39;t select a spot render.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;ve recently started using DAZ again, but I&#39;m encountering an issue with lighting. I&#39;ve been changing the lighting colour, but no matter what colour I set it to, or what intensity, the lighting always appears white when I render an image.</p>

<p>Here it is before rendering, where the lighting is the colour I want:</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>So I downloaded this character, and I see the character materials but not the character morphs.</p>

<p>I manually downloaded and the character morphs are in the character folder but I don&#39;t know what folder to extract them into.</p>

<p>Aven.zip\Content\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis\Base\Morphs\3D Universe\Aven</p>

<p>And that&#39;s where the character morphs are, any ideas?</p>

<p>It does say on the product page:</p>

<ul>
	<li>This product must be installed to the same location as Genesis.</li>
</ul>

<p>I&#39;ve tried moving the file from the data folder to different spots, but no luck</p>
