<p>Where do I find these, and how can I delete them, as this is the only place I see them. I suspect they may have something to do with my slowed down performance.</p>

<p>Trying to bang my head against the wall trying to figure out how to prep an area for GeoGrafting. I will explain my problem by going through my steps.,</p>

<p>- I used the geometry area to highlight the faces that I want for my geograft<br />
- I then hid unselected geometry<br />
- I then deleted hidden geometry<br />
I then noticed that the geometry of my selected cells has changed, and if I bring back in another model the geometry no longer lines up. This is before I even export anything. What am I doing wrong?</p>

<p>I&#39;ve searched Youtube and the forums, and come up dry on this.&nbsp;</p>

<p>I load my figure. Zero her pose. I try to make her walk or gesture using Animate Lite. Parts of her move, but most of her stays in the T-pose. She sort of bends at the torso on &#39;bow&#39; and her feet will move when a dance is selected. Walks will work, but still most of her is in the T pose.</p>

<p>I downloaded the free Sultry Walk and she does walk then, although her right index finger is extended in the classic profane gesture. Zeroing doesn&#39;t remove this. I believe she&#39;s telling me to stick to static poses.</p>

<p>Am I expecting too much? Not a big deal, just curious. I didn&#39;t expect animation to be easy, but I&#39;m obviously missing some very basic concept here.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Is there a very basic &#39;Here&#39;s how to make a figure perform very simple gestures&#39; tutorial out there, one designed maybe for sign-language gorillas (my basic skill set)?</p>

My question is should I install all the files and then download Daz 4.10.123 again so it will find all of that data when installed or install Daz first and then load the data. I think the first option but am not sure. Drive letter the same on both computers so pathways should be fine. Please advise.</p>

<p>I have a complex images with lot of figures which is to big for the RAM of my GPU.<br />
<br />
My plan was to seperate this image in layers and render these with canvases.<br />
<br />
Basically this works fine. But the visible objects does not cast shadows of the invisible ones.<br />
<br />
I did a simple example. Just a plane and sphere. On picture 01 you see both rendered. The sphere casts a shadow on the sphere.<br />
<br />
Picture 2 is just the sphere. What I like to achive is that the png has the shadows of the invisile elements. Is this possible?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>So I bought an outfit from someone who claims it will work on Daz but is made for Poser. I have no idea how exactly that happens becauase there is only one folder with &quot;Runtime&quot;. Inside that one, there is Libraries, Textures and one I&#39;ve never seen called Geometries. I dropped those folders inside the Daz one that I do for all content.&nbsp; However, it wasn&#39;t working correctly. Did I get ripped off, or am I doing something wrong?&nbsp;</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hello. I&#39;m trying to render two figures, no background. I have one camera set up at just the right angle exactly as I want it. Problem is, the render doesn&#39;t work, nor the Iray preview. It just goes blank, or renders and has nothing.</p>

<p>Iray preview works just fine for this scene in Perspective view. My other scenes still preview just fine as well. When I try making a new camera to replace it, the problem does not clear up.</p>

<p>I really really don&#39;t want to have to redo the camera manually. Does anyone know how I might fix this? Thank you.</p>

<p>I have tried to bridge a G3F base model into Zbrush. I keep resolution and deformers and export it into&nbsp;Zbrush. From there&nbsp; I&nbsp;create the model in the workspace using the Load Tool and dragging it out. Without making any changes to the model, I export it back into daz studio. With no changes Daz says&nbsp;&nbsp;I can&#39;t use morph loader pro because it says its changed the geometry, I can visually see that it also looks like Zbrush subdivided once by default or something. How do I prevent Zbrush from changing geometry?</p>

<p>I apologize if I shouldn&#39;t have made another topic, however I have made significant progress and my issues have moved on to different matters entirely. Also, thank you for the repsonses I have gotten so far - I have learned a lot along the way and I apologize for being something akin to an ankle-biting yipper dog.&nbsp;</p>

<p>ANYWAYS, I have been able to successfully graft (and seamlessly) onto the jawline&nbsp;and apply my character&#39;s custom shape. It follows, and emotes nicely. However, now I&#39;m having issues with pixelation along the interior of the graft (pixelated isn&#39;t the right word I&#39;m sure, but I can see the borders of the polygons). In order to build the custom topology out in ZBrush, I had to subdivide the graft, and the only way I could figure out how to do that without altering that one outside border of polygons that needs to remain untouched, was to mask and subdivide only part of the mesh (pictures attached). That seemed to work well, and I was able to build in a test version of my topology. However, the graft appears pixelated, even when converted to SubD in DAZ (more pictures attached). I&#39;m not sure how to avoid and/or fix that. I&#39;m assuming it&#39;s due to the fact that I subdivided only part of that mesh, but how else do I avoid not altering that outside border of polygons?&nbsp;</p>

<p>If there is no way around this, I suppose I can deal and then clean up in Photoshop...at least I&#39;ve been able to build in the topology I wasn&#39;t able to build with importing morphs. It should be covered up further once I actually build out the rest, but it would be awfully nice to be able to make it perfect (I&#39;m anal like that, lol).&nbsp;</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>So, today I started up DAZ as normal, and somehow between two days ago and today Measure Metrics once again has stopped working. The pane shows up and loads normally. Measure Metrics appears in my plug-ins and is green, with no box for entering the serial number (which was the problem last time it stopped working.)</p>

<p>But MM does not show up in my products list. If I search for &quot;measure&quot; only the Wearables for Genesis 8 appear. I need the Genesis 3 wearables, which have somehow disappeared. I tried uninstalling and re-installing, with no effect.</p>

After 6-12 hours of 90+ capacity on my cpu does it help to shut down the computer and let it clear it&#39;s head when it finishes or am I just wasting valuable time? Does this kind of use shorten your computers lifespan? I cannot find any studies on continued renderings effect on a computer but it seems that running anything at 90-100 percent for so many hours must not help. I am blown away at how long some renders take and I keep wondering if my computer is gonna have a heart attack, it does smoke two packs a day. :P</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I have been going nuts trying to figure out what has gone wrong here. It seems that any pose - preset or manually dialed in - for G3F will cause distorts in her chest and breasts. This is the same for any character - even a freshly loaded blank G3F. Ihave not noticed the problem with G3M.</p>

<p>I have tried reinstalling both Daz (the most current 64bit version for Windows 10) and also Genesis 3 Female Starter essentials - but nothing has helped.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Any suggestions would be really appreciated.</p>

If I double the amount of RAM in my system (currently 16GB), will it improve the running of large scemes in DAZ Studio?&nbsp; Not render times, I know that&#39;s down to the GPU&#39;s, I&#39;m talking about actually having a scene open and working on it, moving objects, and such like. I note that on some scenes, I occasionally have to turn elements off or moving is almost impossible!</p>

<p>We have been trying here (unsuccessfully) for a couple weeks trying to use Mixamo with Genesis 8 Characters.&nbsp; There are excellent videos on G2/G3 with Mixamo that can be found on the net like this video here:</p>

<span>Hey all,</span></p>

<p>Pretty new to daz3d.. and i am witnessing something very odd..</p>

<p>I have the following two objects,<br />
DT-Karen Body<br />
Infernal Succubus outfit</p>

<p>As mentioned in title, I add the DT Karen to scene, then select dt karen in scene and add the outfit to the body,<br />
at first glance while the (youve choosen to fit an unsupport item) auto fit screen the outfit is hugigng the body perfectly!!!</p>

<p>no matter the option to choose next, none or any of the settings the outfit defaults to the A pose.. and nolonger hugging the body..</p>

      <title>Is Smart Content Broken?</title>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi to anyone with the know how on using the Smart Content pane in Studio.</p>

<p>My issue: &quot;I am getting download speeds of 1.0 Mbps - 0.3&nbsp;Mbits using the Smart Content pane.</p>

<p>On any other download&nbsp;outside of Studio/Smart Content, I can&nbsp;hit over 170Mbps on speed tests.</p>

<p>Is this a know issue that needs to be fixed, or is there somthing wrong with my Studio?</p>

<p>My machine/computer has a fresh/clean install of windows 10 with full updates.</p>

<p>Has anyone&nbsp;had this issue? Or could&nbsp;someone point me to a fix or share a fix for this issue?</p>

      <title>DAZ Stops Rendering Caustics If I add stuff to Scene</title>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>No idea how this is happening, but it is highly frustrating. I am rendering caustics with JM&#39;s Under Sea product, where caustics are made with a lgiht shining down on a plane with bump bamps to get caustics to show up. Everything works nicely at first--but for SOME reason, even though caustics are already showing up and working fine, if I add more props to the scene, the caustics stop rendering. The props are NOT blocking the light or the thing making the caustics. I&#39;ve had this happen multiple times over the course of many different scenes. Please advise? IT&#39;s frustrating spending hours getting caustics and lighting perfect only to have it ruined because I added a random prop to the scene.</p>

<p>Also, caustics stops if I add a light to the BACK of the scene, like for godrays. It also stops if I try using an atmosphere, but I think I can understand that one. Somewhat. Makes ocean scenes very difficult, though.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p><span>[Failed to download (Install manager)] </span>I seriously don&#39;t know what is wrong. Of course it&#39;s on Windows 10. (Of course) So, anyone else ran into this problem? I can after awhile when I hit the download several time get it or if i download one item at the time.</p>

<p>No, it&#39;s not Windows Defender, I turned it off (Everything it have) while I try this stupid download maraton.</p>

<p>My other computer with windows 7 has 0 problem. So, is it server problem on Daz side or what it is it?</p>
