      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;m sorry if this question has been asked before, but are the&nbsp;LAHM animal figures for 3Delight only?</p>

<p>I have purchased about a dozen animals and I also purchase the LAMH2Iray Catalyzer to work with the Catalyzer figures. They look incredible!</p>

<p>But there are also LAMH versions of each animal (which requires the purchase of &quot;Look At My Hair&quot; or the LAMH Free Player). I have not tried these versions yet as I don&#39;t have the software plugin.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Is there any advantage to using LAMH figures vs.&nbsp;the Catalyzer figures?</p>

<p>I render everything in Iray.</p>

Another thing is where do I enter the serial number it says I am supposed to enter the first time it opens, which it never asked. Just started a tutorial automatically and partway through the tutorial it crashes.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi all,&nbsp;</p>

<p>I looked for this in the existing topics and apparently i&#39;m either using the wrong key words or have otherwise missed it, because i can&#39;t believe no one has ever asked this...</p>

<p>So, D-force outfits often have some sort anchoring system that pins them in place to keep them from falling off a model, which is great in general uses. but if i want to create a messy bedroom, or have an outfit that looks like it might fall off, or hang them up in a closet, or put them on a figure they weren&#39;t designed for, this anchoring system becomes a real pain.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Is there a way to turn it off? if so how?</p>

<p>I&#39;ve included a picture of some D-force outfits to show what i&#39;m talking about, some have dropped like real clothes, but most are hanging from their anchor point.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>...been having issues with Skin Bulder 3.&nbsp; It starts fine focusing on the character like it should but part of the way in, it selcts the hair I used as if it is trying to convert that&nbsp;(even if it is turned off).&nbsp; When this occurs, just keeps running and running infinitely.&nbsp; I have never seen this happen before.&nbsp; After several minutes of this, I have to close the script and then exit the programme to reset everything.as well as end the task in Task manager before restarting.&nbsp;</p>

<p>I really don&#39;t want to delete the hair as I had to make manual adjustments to the colour.&nbsp;</p>

<p>I can select the teeth in the Scene tab and use the transforms dials in the Posing tab, however that also moves the gums.</p>

<p>I can apply a deformer to g3f. Is&nbsp;it then possible to have the deformer work only on the selected verts (the teeth in this case)?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I used Zola for Genesis in a few pictures, using the morph settings to create a bun. But later when I try using it again it will no longer respond to smart content commands or mannualy added shaping controls. I&#39;ve had this issue with other posable hair that I was excited to get because they were meant to be stylized/changed, but then they fail to function properly.&nbsp;</p>

<p>I&#39;ve even tried uninstalling and reinstalling products when they failed to function. I&#39;m getting sick of owning a large collection of hair for Genesis 3 and 8 that are not reliable.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Iray sky domes seems like a contradiction. I bought some 3rd party Iray HDRI night skies. But they just rendered black. I had to turn off Sky Dome visibilty in Parameters to have the Iray lighting acess my scene, which makes the Iray sky dome useless. After you have chosen say a night sky SkyBox or Skydome&nbsp; Iray HDRI 3rd party product for your Environmental Map</p>

<p>Chose &quot;Dome and Scene&quot;</p>

<p>However, I began to realize the Sky Dome (or Sky Box) of third party products were &quot;finite&quot; as contrasted with the Daz Infinite sphere. Aha!</p>

<p>So make Dome mode &quot;Finite&quot;</p>

<p>Choose On &quot;Draw Dome&quot; (I didnt need ground)</p>

<p>Now the option I have never seen mentioned anywhere, in searchs, or tutorial&nbsp; that makes it work: &quot;Visualize Finite Dome&quot; which of course you don&#39;t see if you haven&#39;t selected Dome Mode:Finite!</p>

<p>Attached is the Render Setting menu as I set it up for a quick example.</p>

<p>I have finally been able to render a moody night sky! Ok, it&#39;s not awesome, but this is a straight render using an Orestes product. I can add other lighting features. The important thing is I now have the ambience and tunable background. Hope that helps!</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>It seems to me that it should be very easy to set the origin of an object or figure to a precise metric location and to set its base orientation as well. I think other programs refer to this as a pivot point. &nbsp;But I cannot figure out how to do that with DS. The joint editor has a little green coordinate triad and a little red one. You can drag them or to move them&nbsp;around using the tool panel. However, when I move one of the triads (either numerically with the tool panel or by draging it in the view port) both the triad and the object move --&nbsp;in different and not-obvious directions, which makes it nearly impossible to set it in a precise position. Moreover ther appears to be no way whatsoever to change the orientations of the green and red triads with repect to the object..I&#39;ve also tired to do that in hexagon, but it appears to be impossible to do there, too.</p>

<p>Am I correct?</p>

<p>How can I load a figure or prop or import an object and the set the root position and orientation to something different than what it has originally. That is a basic operation that should be as easy to do as moving a camera around.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>So I found myself, quickly, with thousands of items in my library, Some I download and use right away, others I download because I&#39;ll need them later and they are on sale right now. Many ald older and do not have metadata on them. These are not in the Smart Content section. So how do I know I even have these anymore? By that I mean, if I am going through looking for something for a scene and trolling through outfits for my character or hair, or props, etc, I have to basically assume the smart content is useless and just use the Content Library section and pour through the alphabet until I find something I might have downloaded months ago.&nbsp;</p>

<p>How do people properly search things without metadata so they can find what they need when they don&#39;t know they even have it because they have too many items to memorize?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>In todays&rsquo; topic, I&rsquo;ll try to export morphed character (I used different morphs for it) to Blender as a whole figure as I want to use that character some other time when I might not have all the morphs installed. This is for personal use only as that custom figure includes multiple morphs, mostly non MR.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>Is it possible to export the figure in Blender or any other 3D program where I would &ldquo;create&rdquo; custom morph and re-import it in daz as a whole figure (without the need of other morphs).&nbsp;</p>

Not sure what the deal is, maybe needs to be brought up to customer support?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Everytime I use the default sun and sky for natural light I get a grainy image when I render. If I don&#39;t and use another light source the problem is correctly but the shadows are crisp and nearly black. This hasn&#39;t been a problem in some renders with multpe light sources, but this scene is for an outdoor scene and I need accurate shadows that fade away on the edges. I am trying IBM Master to see if I can get crisp images and realistic shadows, but the tutorial on its product page is less than helpful.&nbsp;</p>

<p>I suppose I&#39;ll start with some simple questions,:</p>

<ol>
	<li>Is HDRI a feature in DAZ studio or is it &quot;These things in Daz Studio have HDRI properties.&quot; Beyond the standard &quot;HDRI Stands for this&quot; what IS it?</li>
	<li>Can HDRI be achieved with props or does a scene have to have built in capabilities?</li>
	<li>Is there a way to get (for lack of a better term) better resolution out of an image using Sun and Sky,</li>
	<li>If there is no use Sun and Sky and not ruin the scene, how can I use other light sources and simulate the its positive effects and shadows?</li>
</ol>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;ve paid a big price for the Michael 4 3D Pro Suite, which advertises it includes Michael 4 Anatomical Elements (.CR2 &amp; .OBJ).&nbsp; This purports to include all physical features including genitalia (scrotum size; uncircumcised, etc)&nbsp; However, there is no way to add that morph, nor does it show anything in the morph++ drop down menus under the parameters.&nbsp; When within the Content Library and in the MAT Elite folder under Textures, it has icons for genitals, but when clicked upon, nothing happens.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; How does one make them show?</p>

<p>STILL fiddling with Gino, at this point he MIGHT be released by XMas!&nbsp; LMAO</p>

<p>So I have a pudgy morph I made for him based off an old morph I made for my Bruno morphs I made years and years ago.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Here&#39;s the process.&nbsp; I load up a fresh copy of G8M, Apply my Gino set to him, Face morph (made in ZBrush) and Body morph (comprised of in house DAZ morphs for better compatibility with clothing).&nbsp; I then dial in the Gino-Pudgy morph and the eyes go all wonky about half dial.&nbsp; When it&#39;s fully dialed in the eyes go unwonky but what if end users want to use just a bit of the pudgy morph?&nbsp; I&#39;ve done all the research I can.&nbsp; I&#39;ve even completely recreated the morph from scratch (like it better actually) and Adjust Rigging to Shape and then ERC Freeze it and saved it out.&nbsp; STILL getting this issue and not sure what to do at this point so I&#39;m reaching out</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>So I bought the Ocean Wide set from&nbsp;<a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.daz3d.com/marshian">Marshian</a>. I load an ocean prop, load the included Skydome with lights, and click render. I get a black image. I have messed with the intensity sliders on all of the lights, still black. I loaded the Skydome alone, still black. I&#39;ve tried all three skydomes included in the set, with the same results. Sometimes, I can see a hint of the clouds in the black. Where am I failing here? I&#39;ve tried using other skydomes, the horizon is visible above the waves. I&#39;d really love to use this product as intended, but I&#39;m running into a wall here. I really shouldn&#39;t have to adjust a bunch of settings to use an environment set out-of-the-box, so where am I going wrong here?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Alright, I&#39;m so sick of the unhelpful intranet. This is <em><span>REALLY</span> <span>EXTREMELY</span>&nbsp;<strong><span>SERIOUSLY</span> ETERNALLY&nbsp;</strong></em>annoying and I need an answer&nbsp;<strong>now.</strong></p>

<p><em>How do you install 3rd Party Content to DAZ 4.10</em>? I tried a tonne of YouTube videos. None worked. I tried the freaking user guide, but it&#39;s only compatible with DAZ 4.6 and I think that this is a fail on the part of DAZ.&nbsp;<img alt="no" src="https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/thumbs_down.png" title="no" />&nbsp;So, I&#39;ve downloaded stuff from Wilmap&#39;s Digital Creations, sharecg, bits and pieces from Renderosity out of their freebies, and other places. <p>Grabbed the free Petting Zoo product for PC+ today, but it won&#39;t install.</p>

<p>I&#39;ve tried several times, but it never even appears in DAZ Install Manager in the &quot;Ready to Download&quot; tab.</p>

<p>I&#39;ve installed hundreds of products so this is the first time I&#39;ve experienced this.</p>

<p>Is&nbsp;anyone else having a problem?</p>

<p>I purchased Victoria 8 Pro Bundle and when I tried&nbsp;the&nbsp;preset poses for Sci-fi Samurai for Genesis 8 and Lingere for Genesis 8 that came with the bundle it doesn&#39;t work. For example, the model in a T pose and I tried to load the preset for an action pose that cames with the bundle. The model remains in the T-pose.&nbsp;&nbsp;I tried the preset poses that came with Z Strike A Pose for Genesis 8 and Victoria 8&nbsp;and they worked fine. I am going to pose out the model myself, but&nbsp; would love to use the preset poses that came with the pro bundle. Wanted to know if there is a fix or if anyone ran into this issue. Using Daz Studio 4.10 Pro.<br />
In the attach files two of the Lingere Pose Presets are not loading, but the Z Strike A Pose is loading and poses out the model.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p><span>Hi all, every now and then I have view port issues. I really don&#39;t know where that comes from because nothing has changed since the last time I used Daz Studio. I tried everything, updated all my drivers and such. For some reason I can&#39;t get a bigger view port than this (see picture). When I resize it to a bigger format it freezes. When I attach it next to my render settings pane it doesn&#39;t show at all.&nbsp;I really don&#39;t know what&#39;s wrong.Anyone else had these problems or might know the answer? Thanks!</span></p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I have some figures that I purchased that were Poser-specific, that won&#39;t render in 3Delight no matter what I try (They seem to work fine in Iray).&nbsp; But for this project, I need to use multiple cameras from LineRender9000 in order to create lighting profiles.&nbsp; Render Engine is &quot;Scripted 3Delight,&quot; and I haven&#39;t seen a &#39;scripted Iray&#39; option.&nbsp; Anyway, the creature I loaded is <em>Brute-X</em>, and rendering with Scripted 3Delight gives me an empty scene.&nbsp; Vanilla 3Delight renders a blacked-out silhouette of the creature, and Daz lists these as &quot;Shader : Daz Studio Default&quot; in the Surfaces pane.&nbsp; How do I go about fixing this thing?</p>

<p>edit: durrrr, using Scripted 3Delight requires you to select a script each time you do a new scene!&nbsp; As much as I&#39;d like to chalk this one up to my vision impairment, this one&#39;s just pure ignorance on my part.&nbsp; BUT, that does still lead me to question why 3Delight doesn&#39;t work for some imported Poser content, which may require a brief explanation on shaders/materials.&nbsp; And also, does that mean my LR9000 script is compatible with Iray materials, despite being &quot;Scripted 3Delight?&quot;</p>

<p>I hva just instaled the Michael 4 Pro bundle&nbsp; free offered on the store and I have found that, in theory, it is possible to show genitalia on it. Somehow, I am unable to show it on the model neither the render. Is it working that feature? If it is possible...anybody could give me a detailed guide to do that?</p>
