      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi,</p>

<p>Not sure what happened because everything was working fine and I did not have any updates or whatever. Just to be sure I used older drivers to test it out but that did not solve the problem so I updated all my graphic drivers.</p>

<p>My background color is black and the lines are white.When I move around the white lines don&#39;t move with it but just stay there drawing in my whole viewport.</p>

<p>I attached a screenshot. I really&nbsp;don&#39;t have a clue what is going on here but it is impossible to work like this.</p>

<p>Does anyone know what can cause this issue?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>So I&#39;ve been learning about making custom poses, and there&#39;s one tricky one that&#39;s esecaping me: Making a hand pose that doesn&#39;t affect the rest of the pose.</p>

<p>Specific scenario: I have a gun model that doesn&#39;t parent to Gen 8 models. I&#39;ve got it in their hand and parented it to their hand, positioned the fingers to fit around the gun. Now, how do I save it as a specific hand pose, so that I can take a regular shooting/action pose from a different pose pack, and then use that custom hand pose to pose JUST THE HAND to fit around the non-Gen 8 gun without affecting the rest of the pose?</p>

<p>I seem to have an issue with the Loose Pigtails for Genesis 3 Female. The hair appears normally within the Scene, but it shows up as just a colored &quot;blob&quot; of sorts on the figure when rendered. I tried playing around with things such as diffuse color, specular overlay, cutout color, etc, but still get the same result each time. Photos below.</p>

<p>I just tried to move my DAZ to my new computer. For doing so I installed the newest version of DAZ there and copied my whole DAZ-folder from the old computer/documents to the new computer.</p>

<p>It seems all contense is there, but the folder hierachy I built on the old computer (mostly under categories) is&nbsp;lost. Do I have to copy another file from elsewhere?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;m relatively new to DS&nbsp;and just purchased Urban Future 6. I&#39;ve tried in vain to duplicate the &quot;wide&quot; perspective in one of the promo images from the DS store. Can&#39;t figure out how to get a wider focal length that they acheived. I&#39;ve attached both my image and the promo for comparison. You can see the exaggerated curve in the sidewalk on the right in the promo image which suggest an extremely wide focal length. How did they do this?</p>

<p>I&#39;ve been away from DAZ for a few years, but it used to be that once hair was selected, you could load the colours from the Smart Content panel.&nbsp;</p>

<p>I&#39;ve just bought the Fallow and Cafe Curls hair sets, along with their respective &quot;Colors&quot; add-ons. They all installed through the Install Manager, but only the basic hair colours are showing up in Smart Content. I&#39;ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling them, but it hasn&#39;t changed anything. What&#39;s up with that?&nbsp;</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I created a bunch a custom morphs and saved some of them as support assets.&nbsp; After changing and removing some of them, I get the following message whenever I open a scene with that character, &quot;Some assets needed to load the file were missing.&nbsp; The content may not work as expected.&quot;&nbsp; The problem is that it does not specify what components are missing so I have no way to know what to fix.&nbsp; How can I fix this or dig deeper to see what is actually missing?&nbsp; I&#39;ve seen this screen in the past and was able to fix it because it listed the missing morphs, but I&#39;m not sure how to proceed when there&#39;s no info.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;m wondering if this is possible. Right now, Genesis 8&#39;s eyelashes are all perfectly lined up with each other, all exiting the edge of the eyelid at exactly the same angle. At many camera angles, this results in an artificially obvious straight line to what--in real life--is never straight. Is there (in box) a way to randomize them? Would a displacement map accomplish this? Is there perhaps a product that does this that I&#39;m missing?<br />

<p>I seem to be having a spot of trouble with the PLANET GLISE environment product.</p>

<p>All the content bits seem to be there (found them under &quot;Lost &amp; Found&quot; category in DAZ Studio but NOT under &quot;Environments&quot;) BUT there doesn&#39;t seem to be a way to just load up a preset scene like with other environment products I bought (including the same artist&#39;s PLANET GLISE 2).</p>

<p>Is there an issue with the preload files? I have a screenshot of what the file names look like attached.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I bought a new product&nbsp;<strong>SKU:</strong><span>47709 Sharks by AM: Hammerhead (with this spec:&nbsp;&nbsp;Daz Studio Iray Material Presets (.DUF))&nbsp;</span></p>

<p>I merged it in a scene and wanted to render with 3dlight. Scene is ok but I got a blank silhouette of the hammerhead in it.&nbsp; (if i do the long...Iray rendering ~ok with the product but the rest of the scene is not fine. I don&#39;t really manage the lray rendering yet. and so far I had great results with 3DLight)</p>

<p>Is the product not compatible or I missed something with the material?&nbsp;</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p><em>This is Take #2, since I might be able to explain this better having dived in headfirst yesterday.</em></p>

<p>I&#39;m rendering objects separately for use in a project.&nbsp; Some only have to fit within a 320x320 pixel window, but others are quite large.&nbsp; In the interest of keeping the scale of everything consistent, I&#39;ve created <em>several</em> camera presets that use different Local Dimensions, Focal Distances, and Z-axis translations (though in orthogonal view, this setting isn&#39;t as important).&nbsp; I&#39;ve included an illustration that shows how I adjust the pixel size, and then change the focal distance in order for the &#39;calibration cube&#39; to retain its dimensions of 32x32 pixels when rendered.</p>

<p>Occassionally when I render a image series (around 100 frames), the render switched back from GPU to CPU after the first frame :o</p>

<p>Needless to say the quality deteriorate a lot especially since I set the time limit for each render to 10 minutes.</p>

<p>After&nbsp;researching a bit&nbsp;from this forum there were many nice suggestions including reducing the number of geometry, restarting daz&nbsp;studio or even restart the PC. I tried different approaches unfortunately the issues persist.</p>

<p>Finally what works in my case is switching off the Optix Acceleration in the render mode (it&rsquo;s located under advanced tab, where you can select CPU/ GPU render). Thanks too those who suggested this!</p>

<p>Since then the render goes consistently smooth and no CPU switching happened. Not sure it solved every cases but hope this can help some of you!</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I can&#39;t remember how long this has been going on, but it goes several versions of DS back. Just occasionally, I&#39;ll try to apply a pose to a character, usually G8 based, and it just does nothing. I can&#39;t find anything in the error log relating to this and I can&#39;t think how to troubleshoot this. It doesn&#39;t help that it&#39;s so intermittent that I&#39;ve just sighed and dismissed it and I can&#39;t actually remember a specific pose that failed.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>&nbsp;&nbsp; I have a problem when importing props into Daz Studio; textures are way darker when loaded in Daz Studio than I see them in Substance Painter or the Windows Image Viewer.</p>

<p>&nbsp;&nbsp; This only happens with Base Color textures, black and white ones are okay. I have checked the gamma; it&#39;s 2.2 in render settings, 0 for base color textures and 1 for B&amp;W ones; which I believe it&#39;s the standard values. Why is this happening?</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>I&#39;ve a very strange problem with Keymate and DAZ 4.11</p>

<p>As soon I select a keyframe with Keymate&nbsp;(or even try to select an empty area in keymate) in the TRSV mode, DAZ Studio crash without an error message or an entry in the log.</p>

<p>This only happens when a G3F or G8F/M is loaded (yes, G3M doesn&#39;t cause this issue).</p>

<p>I contacted DAZ and they couldn&#39;t reproduce this issue.</p>

<p>I disabled all other plugins: Still the same error.</p>

<p>I disabled All my external libraries (my personal and all all other non DAZ store libraries): no success.</p>

<p>I installed DAZ3D with G3 and Keymate fresh on an other computer and the issue no longer occures on the other computer.</p>

<p>Now I have a theorie.</p>

<p>I&#39;ve a really really lot of morphs for G3F, G8M and G8M, but not for G3M and G2 and G1.</p>

<p>For figures I don&#39;t have a lot of Morphs, everything is fine. But as soon a Figure with a lot of morphs is loaded Keymate crash in&nbsp;TRSV mode.</p>

<p>To reproduce the error:</p>

<p>1) Load a Figure with lot of Morphs</p>

<p>2) Change Keymate to TRSV</p>

<p>3) Click somewhere in the Keymate Timeline Area (it&#39;s not nesevery to click on a keyframe)</p>

<p>-&gt; Studio crash</p>

<p>In an new scene it&#39;s important to change to TRSV only after a heavy figure is loaded. If you first change to TRSV and than load a figure, the error doesn not occure. Sadly this does not workf or saved senes (otherwise this would be a woraround).</p>

<p>Could some with tons of morphs try this and tell me if he could reprodcue this error?</p>

<p>This bug is really a big issue for me, because I can&#39;t not delete TRSV Keyframes anymore.</p>

<p>With DAZ 4.10 everything was fine.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>So I was doing some experimenting and rendering clothing on invisible models so that I can render out just the animated clothing. However I am finding that the clothing models are two sided, and where the Figure&#39;s head would be, I can see the material/texture&nbsp;inside of the shirt or outfit that they are wearing when I would prefer to be able to see through this area. Is this something that can be done?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I am trying to erase the weight map on the ring (see attachment). The ring is a full 3d closed object meaning its geometry is separate from that of the belt. This happens often when I&#39;m working and separated geometry that is fully red cannot be modified in any way.</p>

<p>I have tried:</p>

<p>- Weight Editing -&gt; Fill Selected -&gt; 0%</p>

<p>-&nbsp;Weight Editing -&gt; Smooth Selected</p>

<p>-&nbsp;Weight Editing -&gt; Attenuate Selected</p>

<p>- Alt (Hold) + Paint Brush</p>

<p>- Smooth Brush</p>

<p>The only thing that I can think of that might work is deleting the weightmap altogether but in this case it&#39;s not a feasable option for me.</p>

<p>Does anyone have any ideas?</p>
