I&#39;ve been noticing for sometime now that when I purchase 3expression products, even when using the base character they were advertised as being designed for, the expressions aplly all messed up. <p>Is there any way to have a single morph slider on the mask controlling the morph on the mask as well as the morph on G8M?</p>

<p>Is it possible to save something like a shape present that applies to both morph?</p>

I have an obj file which should represent a bodysuit (without arms and legs) and would like to use it as clothing for Genesis 3 or 8 female.</p>

<p>How do I do it exactly? Has any of you ever done this? On the Internet, I have only found posts that deal with clothing for other versions, i.e. from Gen3 to Gen8 etc.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>wth is Fiat500_Max and why do I seem to have bought it?</p>

<p>Just noticed in my list of Ready to downlaod products Fiat500_Max.&nbsp; Looking at the files in the product it is for somethign that uses .MAX format file (3DS?) which I don&#39;t have.&nbsp; The order number is the same as a large I made to &#39;scoop up&#39; the latest bundle (though the order number DIM quotes is nothing like the order number on the DAZ site - but then no other order numbers match between DIM and site.</p>

<p>Searching the store for Fiat tells me ;nothing found, did you mean fist?&#39;</p>

<p>It gets worse ...</p>

<p>Just cecked Product Library, and there is is, at the top of the list: Order: #108527699 &ndash; 10 Jun, 2020</p>

<p>At least that is an order number I have, but .. that order does not contain that product!</p>

<p>Ok, despite it not being listed or shown it claims to be part of the Angharad 8 Pro Bundle ... something screwy going on?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I was attempting to install DAZCENTRAL.&nbsp; I installed using the default file location.&nbsp; When I run it, I get the messaqge that DAZ STUDIO is not installed.&nbsp; My DAZ STUDIO is located in&nbsp;D:\Program Files\Smith Micro\Poser 11\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4.&nbsp;</p>

<p>I installed DAZ STUDIO when it first came out and I was still a POSER user.&nbsp; Seemed like too much of a problem to relocate my runtimes etc.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>I assume that DAZCENTRAL is looking for DAZ STUDIO in the default location.&nbsp; I&#39;m wondering where I should direct the DAZ CENTRAL installlerso that it sees DAZ STUDIO.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi everyone! I know this may be a frequent question asked, but I&#39;ve yet to find a solution.</p>

<p>My specs are below. It appears that Iray rendering in DazStudio is refusing to use my GPU (2080Ti) at all. This is confirmed with viewing GPU status in both GPU-Z and the Task Manager. The GPU remains at idle frequences during render (but is in use by DazStudio for preview). What I&#39;ve tried so far, with no success:</p>

<p>1) Rendering a small scene (e.g. even an empty scene with only a single asset &amp; a light), so that it definitly fits in the 11GB VRAM...</p>

<p>2) Optimax on/off</p>

<p>3) Unchecking CPU in render settings (and checking the GPU) (usually results in either an all-black render, or no render - i.e. the GPU is just ignored).</p>

<p>4) Spot-rendering (same result as #3)</p>

<p>4) Looking at render logs (i think). It shows CPU is used (if checked), but there is no mention of my GPU</p>

<p>5) Uninstalling and reinstalling graphics drivers. All are up to date.</p>

<p>I&#39;m really not sure what else to do now. Any help would be appreciated!</p>

<p>RAM: 16GB</p>

<p>I&#39;m having a very weird issue after I installed the latest DAZ Version 4.12 (Not the beta).</p>

<p>It&#39;s not an performance issue as I can move around absolutely smoothly when holding the buttons at the top right of the viewport for moving or orbiting around. However when using WASD I get input lag of about a second.&nbsp;Meaning for example I press A to move sideways but it takes a second for it to actually move.</p>

<p>What can this be? Thank you!</p>

<p>Edit: I noticed that I can even move this way when disabling keyboard navigation which is weird.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Edit 2: I don&#39;t have this problem when I switch the viewport to fullscreen mode...</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>The new Public Build doesn&#39;t work&mdash;it crashes. If I load an existing scene, I might be able to do a couple of minor tweaks before it crashes, but it&#39;s unusable.</p>

<p>The previous version was mostly reliable. Sometimes it would crash on simulation, but I learned to save first and I can live with it. I want to go back to this version.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>So, is there a &quot;best way&quot; a recommended way to go back to a previous version? How do you find all the relevant files? I have several plugins installed (I can&#39;t remember all their names). Will these have to be reinstalled also?</p>

<p>The free one appeared in my content, the Frontier Outpost did not.</p>

<p>I already filed a ticket, but for the last one DAZ took nearly seven weeks to answer&nbsp;...<br />

And again they are forcing a new buggy software on the users, since the new content only is downloadable through DAZ Central.<br />

But what does DAZ care?&nbsp;they have my money and obviously anyway see no obligation to deliver the content bought or see that it works.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>When opening up some environments my renderscreen gets set to these Landscape demensions. I there any way to reset it back to the original default 1/1 Square.</p>

<p>I can get it back to default in scenes I am currently using, but not in some some environments I would like to use in Iray that&nbsp;I have used in 3Delight.</p>

<p>The environment I am talking about here is the Modern Museum by Age of Armour, but it&#39;s not the only one. Several others do this to the rendering dimensions and it drives me nuts.</p>

<p>I don&#39;t like settings changing that I didn&#39;t change.</p>

<p>What I want is to manually reduce the number of Genesis polygons (decimator is not a valid option). So what I want is to import the Genesis model from DAZ to blender and then reduce the polygons.</p>

<p>But I want to reduce the polygons, import the new model to DAZ and then be able to use all Genesis morphs in that custom model with reduced polygons. And if I then buy licenses like Genesis Evolution Bundle, Michael 4-5 or anyone who uses Genesis as a base, I can use those morphs in my custom model.</p>

<p>In short, I want to establish a Genesis custom model with fewer polygons as a base model Genesis.</p>

<p>It&#39;s possible?</p>

<p>My C drive is relatively small and I don&#39;t want to fill it up with DAZ, as I still have several other programs to install. DIM had settings as to where to install DAZ stuff, I would have expected DC to be the same.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I had planned on building my dream PC this year but like everyone else on earth my plans where changed due to the virus. I&#39;ve had to be responsible and put a hold the new computer for now, however, the limitations on my current ancient PC are driving me insane.&nbsp;</p>

<p>I love using this software but my current old PC is killing all my fun.&nbsp;I need some advise on some short term updates. I&#39;ve read so much but I&#39;m not sure what&#39;s the best option for me.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Right now I have a Dell Inspirion 580 with a Intel Core i5 650 @ 3.20GHz,8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 on a Dell Inc. 033FF6 Motherboard, with a 300 watt power supply. I&#39;ve updated it with a 931GB Samsung SSD 850 EVO 1TB and an ASUStek NVIDIA GeoForce GT 710 with 2 MB. The operating system is Windows 10 Home 64 bit.</p>

<p>Rendering times are terrible but i could live with overnight renders but what is so frustrating is i really like to use more than one character. All of you create such great work but I primarily see everyone one character. I much more interested in exploring narrative renders which means more than one character and a full set with props. Daz so often lock up or run so slow it&#39;s ridiculous .&nbsp;</p>

<p>I have two&nbsp;short term hardware solutions that might be helpful. First , 2MB of GPU memory is bad. I could get a refurbished or off-brand 730 with 4MB of memory for around $50 . I know this GPU&nbsp;isn&#39;t a great card but would it be a inexpensive short term solution?</p>

<p>I&#39;ve never paid much attention to the fans in the case &ndash; getting a couple stronger fans and maybe re-applying the thermal paste on the CPU make any difference?</p>

<p>The motherboard limits my memory to 8gb which is a problem but probably nothing I can solve with this PC.</p>

<p>I had expected to be in the middle of building my new PC with every high end part i could find and i was looking forward to showing off on this forum. I just want to have fun again with the Daz3D.</p>

<p>At the moment, my client is expressing an interest in some model&nbsp;assets available via cgtrader.</p>

<p>Over there, the asset types include <strong>max, obj, fbx,</strong> and <strong>3ds.</strong></p>

<p>In your experience, what are the easiest-to-use &nbsp;/ best-supported formats that you&#39;d recommend getting for use in Daz.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I thought would be able to google it, but not having much luck. I&#39;ve seen that some property controllers in Daz has a &quot;Yes/No&quot; (true/false) value. How does one create that/set that when they are creating or editing a property?&nbsp;</p>

<p>I have a flag I&#39;m trying to set to turn on/off a set of helper JCM&#39;s. Instead of having the user dial it, I want them to be able to click either &quot;Yes&quot; or &quot;No&quot; and No = 0 and Yes = 100</p>

<p>since the last update of Windows 10 to V2004 this OS is using all CPU sockets. I have 4 Xeon CPUs and 40 core with HT, means 80 logical CPUs.</p>

<p>While all other 3D Apps now use all CPU power, DAZ is still using just the half of all the CPUs available when rendering. Is there a trick I missed?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi all,</p>

<p>I&#39;ve a Macbook Pro and a Windows Laptop both running DAZ3d 4.12. Yesterday on my Macbook Pro the emissive function just stopped working and I get&nbsp;two error prompts (images&nbsp;attached) when I try to turn a plane into an emissive surface. Just for clarification here&#39;s what I&#39;m doing:</p>

<p>create primitive plane - selecting it in surfaces&nbsp;editor tab - going to presets and selecting emissive.</p>

<p>This still works fine on the Windows laptop, and until yesterday it was working fine on the macbook. If I&#39;m doing something daft I can&#39;t figure out what it is.&nbsp;That said I&#39;m not super tech minded. Any help would be much appreciated.</p>

<p>EDIT - Just discovered it&#39;s not just the primitives. Get the same error messages for the IRAY uber base. I&#39;ve unistalled the whole program and reinstalled from scratch making sure the default packages are being downloaded through the install manager, but still nothing is working.</p>

<p>I have purchased some jewelry products for G8F and some of these are facial jewelry such as piercings and bindis. Some of these items follow the facial movements when you apply expressions but others do not. How can I make the items that don&#39;t follow the facial movements work like the other items that do? It is getting very tedious constantly adjusting the items that don&#39;t follow facial movements every time I apply an expression to the figure.</p>

      <title>Controller Property For Camera Frame Width Weirdness</title>

<p>I have an odd issue that I can&#39;t seem to figure out and would greatly appreciate any assistance tracking down why I can&#39;t seem to do what I think I should be able to.</p>

<p>I have a more complex camera setup, but for ease of explaning the issue i&#39;ll use this setup:</p>

<p>Master Camera</p>

<p>* Created a new Property for a controller &quot;Master Focal Length&quot;</p>

<p>* Created a new Property for a controller &quot;Master Frame Width&quot;</p>

<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Sub Camera parented to Master Camera</p>

<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;* Focal Width</p>

<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;* Frame Width</p>

<p>My goal is to make &quot;Master Frame Width&quot; take the Sub Camera:Frame Width for&nbsp;a 1 to 1 value. Then take &quot;Master Focal Length&quot; take the Sub Camera:Focal Length at a 1 to 1 value. Then have &quot;Master Frame Width&quot; take &quot;Master Focal Length&quot; as a sub-component with DeltaAdd and scalar .5 so the &quot;Master Focal Length&quot; is always half the value&nbsp; of &quot;Master Frame Width&quot; (and by that the Sub Camera:Focal Length is half the Sub Camera:Frame Width).</p>

<p>I started with &quot;Master Focal Length&quot; and went in to edit mode then opened the Property Hierarchy from it. I took the Sub Camera:Focal Length property and dragged it to the Master Focal Length:Sub-Component:Stage 1 (Add/Subtract). It comes in as a DeltaAdd with scalar of 1.</p>

<p>This seems to work great. I slide the value of &quot;Master Focal Length&quot; and the Sub Camera:Focal Length keeps&nbsp;the same value.</p>

<p>However, when I do &quot;Master Frame Width&quot; and&nbsp;drag the Sub Camera&#39;s Frame Width up to the Master Frame Width:Sub-Component:Stage 1 (Add/Subtract) as&nbsp;DeltaAdd with scalar of 1 -- as soon as I do this the&nbsp;value of the Sub Camera&#39;s Frame Width&nbsp;immediately changes. The &quot;Master Frame Width&quot; has a default of 36, value of zero, nudge 1.0 and raw zero. The Sub Camera Frame Width has the same exact values. But when the property is added to the sub-component the value changes to 108. If I slide &quot;Master Frame Width&quot; higher it quickly gets into the thousands. I don&#39;t see any other components or sub components on Sub Camera:Frame Width.</p>

<p>I thought, hmmm, do I have to ERC Freeze this? So when I select ERC Freeze on &quot;Master Frame Width&quot; I don&#39;t see the&nbsp;Sub Camera:Frame Width as a choice. Focal Length is there, but not Frame Width.</p>

<p>The entire point of this is to enforce a 2:1 ratio between Frame Width and Focal Length. In my real project I have more than one sub-camera so I want the Master property to control all the sub-cameras in the same way.</p>

<p>Any help on why Frame Width seems to not play nice (and why it&#39;s not in the ERC Freeze) would be greatly appreciated!</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;m fairly experienced with c4d but today was my first time purchasing a model, animating it, &amp;&nbsp;then importing it into C4D. When I uploaded a t-pose model with no animation or poses everything ran fine</p>

<p>&nbsp;I exported as an fbx with no specific settings. For the past couple hours I&#39;ve been struggling on how to figure out how to get my animation into C4D. My first failed attempts involved the model looking like this, but still having animation&nbsp;</p>
