<p>I have a fanart commission I&#39;m hitting a roadblock on. It&#39;s for a male Blood Elf (World of Warcraft). However, I haven&#39;t found a single morph for WoW elf ears...for MALES. They&#39;re all for females. Is there a way to transfer the morphs I have for females over to a male? I know I can try to finagle something with mesh grabber or my extremely limited ZBrush abilities...however, the female WoW elf ears I have are really nice (Mousso&#39;s)...and whatever I make will not be up to snuff for me to put into a paid commission.</p>

<p>I&#39;ve seen folks mention in other threads that I should be able to use the G8M clone and make him on the G8F base...however I&#39;m not sure I&#39;d be able to replicate the character I need to make facially because then I&#39;d be limited to the female morphs I have for faces. I do have the UV swap utility, so texture is not an issue...but ideally, I&#39;d like to just be able to transfer the elf ears over so I can use them on the male figure.&nbsp;</p>

<p>I just noticed that my 1080 ti is using 60 watts constantly with the DAZ application opened with a blank scene and the shader NOT set to IRAY. The 60 watt reading remains the same regardless of wireframe, hidden line or texture mode.</p>

<p>The moment DAZ is closed it drops down to 17 watts. And then I might still have other programs open like Chrome, Firefox etc. with multiple tabs.</p>

<p>I am going to check if 3ds max displays this behavior. This seems a bit high for just the interface with no characters loaded or iray rendering going on. Can anything be done to reduce the power consumption?</p>

<p>Cupboard, i made some Screenshots on my own to show how its looking on my PC when i Render in CPU or GPU Mode.&nbsp;you can see in the&nbsp;GPU Render Screenshot where you can change the Graph to Cuda(the CUDA Cores on your Graphic-Card are the ones who do all the work when you render). When you render with your GPU it should be at around 100%. When you Render using your CPU, what i think is the case, your CPU should also be working at max with a speed of around 4.5Ghz. in your screenshots its only at 45% with around 45% useage. Thats what i dont understand and mean by something is odd.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I have entered a sequence of face poses into the timeline&nbsp;using the Puppeteer.&nbsp; Now I would like to delete those keyframes and change them in some way.&nbsp; I have Keymate set to display TRSV keys&nbsp;and I have deleted all key frames that are visible (other than the zero frame).&nbsp; However, when I play the animation, all of the face poses are still there as if the keys still exist.&nbsp; I will attach images of my interface.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The expression sliders I used to create the poses are set in the Posing tab.&nbsp; I can see them moving around and changing position with each frame, so they are keyed in somewhere.&nbsp; Where, how, can I access this information to change it?&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>I&#39;ve been able to fix the problem by clearing the selected pose of the head node, so maybe that&#39;s good enough.&nbsp; Still, wondering why it seems like the keys were invisible to me.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Problem: Daz Studio 4.12x running very slow on one of my PCs.</p>

<p>Background: I have 2 compact desktop PCs running Daz Studio.&nbsp; One is an AMD with a Ryzen5 2600X 6 Core Processor and a Radeon RX580 graphics card.&nbsp; Naturally this PC is fairly slow to render but, runs Daz Studio at a good speed&nbsp;with few delays when building or amending scenes.</p>

<p>The second PC which is the one running slow is an Intel i7-9700 8 core and an Nvidia RTX2070 Super graphics card.&nbsp; It renders much faster due to the Nvidia card, but Daz Studio itself runs much slower, despite being an even more powerful system than the AMD.</p>

<p><strong>Examples:</strong> (1) simple activity like restoring figure pose on a G8 character takes 5-10 seconds on the AMD machine. Takes at least 30 secs and sometimes 1 minute&nbsp;or even more on the Intel.&nbsp; (2) Applying LIE makeup layers on AMD about 5 secs, but takes 10-15&nbsp;seconds or more on the Intel machine.</p>

<p>However, it is not entirely consistent, because clearing a scene and reloading an empty scene with a basic G8 character takes about the same time on both machines.</p>

<p>Both systems were installed with default install settings apart from changing the path(s)&nbsp;to the Content Library.&nbsp; Both seem to have exactly the same settings in Preferences, so I&#39;m not sure where else to look to adjust anything performance related.</p>

<p>Any Ideas?&nbsp; Is this the right forum to raise this question or is there another better section? Or should I raise a bug report?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>EDIT: this is&nbsp;the Iray blackscreen issue that never had an offical solution since 2016, I found many related threads date back to 2016, and there&#39;s yet a solution to this problem.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>So all of sudden, Iray is nearly unusable in recent build. most of time my PC fail to start iteration and rendering will be done in 3 secs with a black screen.&nbsp;&nbsp;Tried both game ready driver and studio driver, still encounter the same problem, so I doubt it&#39;s the driver issue.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I recently purchased 2 pro bundles and when I go to put the anatomical elements on there they are just grey there is no color&nbsp;I know that I&#39;m probably missing a step so before my 30 days is up I&#39;d like to decide whether I want to keep this or not so please if I can get some help to explain what step I might be missing so that when render them&nbsp;they have a color of the rest of the model. <p>Wood, metal, etc...work normally. But one of the categories&nbsp;is &quot;glazed ceramic&quot; and it doesn&#39;t. In the workspace, everything seems normal. If I apply a red glazed ceramic shaders, it looks like that (see first image attached). But in Iray preview and in render, it turns into a kind of yellowish glass (see second image attached)&nbsp; and this regardless of which shader I picked (a red ceramic and a blue ceramic will both turn into a yellowish glass) . You can see what the shader is supposed to look like on the side of the images.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Does anybody has any idea of what the problem could be? Does anybody use this product with or without having the same problem? Thanks in advance.&nbsp;</p>

Is there a glitch in the studio, do I need to wait for an update/patch up, or do I have to restart without erasing my data somehow?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;m back with issues. Often when rendering a scene and canceling it or letting it fully render my computer will completely freeze for a while making it impossible to save the image. I&#39;ve been struggling with similar issues for a while (saving scenes) but this one is really getting to me. It doesn&#39;t seem to matter if the scene is big or not, as I&#39;ve been trying several scene setups to check for issues.</p>

<p>So basically, I make a scene and render it, notice something that might need some adjusting and thus cancel the render and that&#39;s when it often happens. Also happened when rendering for an hour or so and feeling that the result was what I was looking for, cancel and never could save the picture. Sometimes the computer will eventually react to my actions as even the mouse freezes. It is however then required to restart the computer because nothing will work (programs won&#39;t boot at all).</p>

<p>I&#39;ve been checking the log out and this is one the warnings I seem to be getting regularly (or variations of it).</p>

<p>I&#39;ve got an i7-8700, 32gb of RAM, a gtx 1070 with 8gb of memory. The scenes often are smaller than the 8 gigs on the card at least according to task manager and gpu-z, I was trying to put a new character together and had 4,8 used of the 8gb and it still froze my whole computer up. Note that it&#39;s not always happening.</p>

<p>I&#39;ve checked my RAM with memtest, did a full defrag of my drives, checked my drives for errors. Uninstalled and reinstalled several packages. The only thing I didn&#39;t do yet is fully remove Daz and reinstall it again. Mostly because I&#39;m afraid I&#39;ll have to re-enter several paths for saving files and making mistakes. So, I&#39;d rather hear your opinions first before I actually go true with it. I also have quite a lot of 3rd party content, not sure if that matters.</p>

<p>I&#39;m actually getting kinda frustrated and hopeless. I&#39;ve not been having this exact issue for super long, but it&#39;s the worst one in a series of issues I&#39;ve had with this computer even though it&#39;s fairly new (not even 2 years old).</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>So this is an issue I have never been able to resolve.</p>

<p><strong>GOAL</strong> - export an animation with Alembic and import in 3ds Max preserving all the HD morphs and high-res geometry with proper texture coordinates.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, when exporting a high-res mesh with HD morphs, the texture coordinates are broken.<br />
On the other hand, when exporting the animation as a Base Mesh only (no subdivisions baked) the textures are ok but I&#39;m loosing the details of the character&#39;s geometry (which are really important for me).</p>

<p>Any help with this? Thank you :)</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>So after weeks of frustation with catatrphic&nbsp;issues one after another with DAZ(mostly Daz&#39;s internal technical issues)&nbsp;I attempt&nbsp;to reinstall the app to see if there&#39;s any improvement, but to my surpise, Daz can&#39;t even be found in win 10&#39;s uninstall&nbsp;manager!&nbsp; tried to use both Daz uninstall manager and windows uninstall manager but just as with most things in DAZ, NOTHING IS WORKING!&nbsp; &nbsp;When I tried to uninstall from Daz&#39;s uninstall manager -&gt; click uninstall -&gt; lead you to windows uninstall manager -&gt; no Daz app found even when it&#39;s installed correct on my C driver as default.&nbsp; then mannually opened windows uninstall manager, same thing&nbsp;</p>

<p>Tho I can still mannually delete all Daz&#39;s&nbsp;folders but it can potentially leads to another issue when i reinstall Daz, but I just don&#39;t get it,&nbsp;why you guys at DAZ FAIL so much???</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;ve found other posts that have gotten me close, but I cannot make this item match with my character where I can move both in and her as if she is wearing it.<br />
My end goal is to be able to have this item follow her, but allow me the ability to take it out into ZBrush and bring it back in updated. (I have question on how this would be possible in the future, but for the meantime, I&#39;d be happy getting her in the right pose that I can at least try to sculpt over.)</p>

<p>I have given the model an &quot;X pose&quot; to attempt to fit the suit. When I tried to offset her original shape so that the suit would be thick enough to be &quot;on&quot; her skin, there was colision under her arms and between her legs, hence, the pose where those areas are able to be expanded.&nbsp;</p>

<p>I have given the suit a rigging (?) that I am now unable to divorce from it, apparently.&nbsp;The suit is already the right shape, imo, so if&nbsp;I could have the rigging inside match her, I would hope that she and the suit&#39;s volume would move with no problems.</p>

<p>I have tried the transfer utility option. Source &gt; current with the figure (genesis 8 female), and Target &gt; Current with the suit. &quot;Reverse source shape from target&quot; is turned on. No other defaults have been checked or changed. The result gives me some undesirable geometry, uh, everywhere, especially the shoulders and hips.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;ve rendered high quality still frames and animations&nbsp;in&nbsp;DAZ3D before, and have the gist down. I&#39;ve also made many experimental games in Unity (without cutscenes - games for the sake of having fun, minimal story).<br />
<br />
However, I&#39;ve had thoughts of experimenting with making characters and animating them within DAZ, but decimating them, exporting them, and animating a short film in real-time within The Unity Game Engine. Sort of like what Disney did for The Lion King remake, but more in line with modern video game graphics are capable of, so the &quot;movie&quot; can play in engine via an EXE on the downloader&#39;s desktop. A personal tech demo, if you will. (I&#39;m doing it because it&#39;s cool, not because it&#39;s a realistic use of such talents.)<br />
<br />
I&#39;m just wondering if there are any tools, content/asssets, or exporting/importing tips either for DAZ or Unity that you would recommend for completing such a task? I&#39;ll figure out more as I go along, but I figured I&#39;d ask here as a &quot;Quick Tips&quot; page before I really get started.<br />
