I've noticed that there is always a crazy number of files in my "Lost and Found" in the Content Library and Smart Content categories. I hear that the staff at DAZ are always updating or working on updating content tags, but stuff is still going uncategorized and loitering unfound in my database.

Maybe we could help. If users are involved in product improvement, might it be helpful if they open their databases to DAZ so they can import any custom tags for any Studio products that have gone untagged? I'd be willing to hand over some of my database information and if any other Studio users can use it to categorize their assets, more power to them. If enough of us got together for that, the collaborative effort could cut months off the staff's work.

The animation format AVI is lets face it not the best (possibly the worst) format due to size & corruption issues.

Yes you can use image sequances and I often do using Davinci Resolve but sometimes I would prefer as direct one step render.

cant we have some alternative options as there are plenty out there.

Hello, does anyone know what the character show in the promo images of Rialto Hair for Genesis 8 and 8.1 Males is? I think it looks really good and I've been looking for it for a while, but haven't been able to figure out which one it is. If it's a mix of characters and anyone knows (or has a guess), of which ones they are and what the combination is, I would also appreciate it. Thanks for any assistance!

3D models of supermarket products and a large supermarket?

I have seen 3d models of grocery products in the Shop and other sites. But I am wondering if there are collections of grocery products available that contain cans of spaghetti; jars of mayonnaise, jelly, jam, pickles, relish, and other condiments; and boxes of toothpaste, soap, etc.?

Also, I am very surprised there is no large supermarket available for DAZ Studio in the Shop or any site - unless I overlooked something. The best I could find in terms of a supermarket are just small supermarkets, but I would love to see a large supermarket, a similar size as A&P, Safeway, Loblaws, etc.

Batch Renderer plugin compatible with DAZ Studio 2026

With DS4, for years now, I've been using Batch Renderer by Dimension3D but I just checked it and it's apparently incompatible with DS 2026.

I don't need anything extremely elaborate, I just need to be able to select multiple scene files with animations in them and have the footage rendered into a folder of my choice.

In America, the style is known as "Richardsonian Romanesque." It was popular in the late 19th century. Common characteristics include stone construction and a large circular turret (usually at the corner of the house). I've attached a photo for reference.

some years ago JoeQuick released a couple of "storybook" type toon animals, like these:

He then announced to take a little break from this series in favour of other types of 3D-models and would return then with some 3-4 more animals in that style/series, including a badger.

Which is exactly what I'm looking for a long time... but sadly, after a small number of (indeed) very different models, JoeQuick seems to be vanished from this forum and platform entirely... I tried to contact him by PM on this board but never got any answer, and there even was/is a thread on his work:

...which looks abandoned as well. And of course I tried "the web" but didn't find this JoeQuick anywhere else.

However, I still would love to get a "toon" badger that would somehow fit these other existing models at least to some degree. All that I can find is this older honey badger:

...which is a great model but way to "realistic" and not compatible to the others.

So... does anybody know a badger model for this purpose and/or has any idea if JoeQuick is still in business (here or somewhere else), and could be asked about it?

I've boticed an uptick in Afro textured hairstyles lateky, which I greatly appreciate, and I think something that can elevate them are Afro picks as accesories. Here are example pictures:

With long Afro textured hair, 4C curl patterns for example, a pick is used to comb it out and can stay in the hair as a point of style. They come in lots of shapes and designs so a good artist can have a lot of fun with it.

I am severely disabled and make comics, and I am unable to make anythig about a character like myself because you only have hospital wheelchairs, ultralight manual wheelchairs, and a sci-fi tank wheelchair. It is so incredibly deflating to never be able to see yourself in your own art because nobody has bothered to make the prop you need. There are one or two non-DAZ power wheelchairs, but they don't import well, have no color or style choices accessible in DS, and therefore are incredibly difficult to work with.

In fact, DAZ is pretty lacking in disability content in general. We exist. I spend money regularly with you. I'm open to consulting and sharing disabled models/actors I've made, and so on. Feel free to reach out.

Does anybody know of any pose packs for bowling, for Genesis 8/8.1 male? There are a few different bowling alley environments available, here and in other stores, and bowling balls in some sports equipment prop packs, but not a lot in the way of poses. i13 Bowling Alley Environment with Poses is for Genesis 3, and elsewhere there is an STZ Bowling package that is only for G8F. Any suggestions?

DAZ House Cat expressions

I'm in the process of making a render with the DAZ House Cat making a smirking expression like this emoji. While the House Cat has some decent expressions as standard, they're nowhere near as flexible as the ones for human characters. I've tried D-Formers and Mesh Grabber to no avail. Any other suggestions besides one for a new product?

I was trying to do a 1950's rumble-style piece and couldn't find a single switchblade. I decided to go looking for a standard pocketknife, but all I could find was a single Swiss Army knife multitool. With so many styles of pocketknives available, from switchblades and double-ratcheted claw blades, old-fashioned stag handled triblades, coin style claw blades, butterfly knives, to spring-loaded double-edge blades, there are multiple products here—a forgotten niche in a very popular category. With a single morph and/or joint, I don't see this adding much difficulty for you, knife modellers out there.

Figure generation ID in Smart Content

In the Smart Content tab, names and pictures are one thing. How about adding a number to the lower right corner of the icon that indicates the figure's generation? A G1 or G3 would come in handy, or if not that, then an option to sort figures by generation?

So, in Daz Studio, D-Formers basically work by essentially changing the shape relative to the base model and then the rig and the morphs are applied to create the final shape of the character "after".

In programs like Maya, you can control at what point in the 'chain' a deformer acts on the geometry.

What I would REALLY want, like, ok, I'll name a price, I would drop 150 in a heartbeat, if I could just have the bog standard d-former but have its effects applied to the final shape, cause for example, it's really hard on some of the really heavily modified face shapes like Genesis 8.1 male storybook frog, just to give one example, to have predictable d-former behavior cause the morphs have deviated so far from the base geometry and it's a constant headache, especially when animating. Please just let me have last in chain d-formers.
