I have DS4 Pro 64 bit ver. 4.0.3.47 installed and 3D Bridge ver 1.0.11.47. When I hit automate Daz 3D Bridge in Photoshop CS5.1 extended I get the bridge menu that gives me the option to view image but there is no view "scene" button as I have seen in a youtube video. I only have a rudimentary knowledge of Photoshop so far. I've been trying to find some more extensive documentation on 3D Bridge but have been frustrated in that attempt.

Am I missing a step I need to perform in order to open a 3D scene in Photoshop ? I can manipulate the scene in Studio then uptate image in Photoshop and I can import image maps from the models that are open in Studeo's scene but can't figure out how do I get that direct manipulation and paining inside directly on the model in Photshop ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My question is what, if anything, can I do to recover those lost POSE FILES? And if I need to re-purchase the content what advise does anyone have regarding Uninstalling Content?

The original idea was to have a guy running with a bungee cord on his back that is anchored down at a wall like when you're in one of those blow up bungee runs. The "bungee cord" is made of a multi segment cord with bones attached in regular intervals.

I want to be able to pin the cord to the wall and the runner so that when I pull on the actor with the active pose tool, the cord follows. The effect of gravity and stuff will be neglected for the moment, as well as the stretching of the bungee cord making it just a rope attached to the runner for right now.

Is there a proper way to do this?

Hello,

I'm having some troubles with the PowerPose tab. I find it a very good way of posing characters (the best in DAZ for me) but it never works after I save and reload a scene. When I start with a clean scene and drop a figure, the powerpose icons (green circles) are shown in the tab and I can use them, if I then save the scene, close and reopen DAZ and reload the scene, the powerpose tab is now empty, just the figure silhouette shows in the background.

I imagined this could be due to PowerPose not recognizing that the character is selected, but I can still reset the pose with the button in the tab, so it knows which figure I'm working on, it simply does not show me the green circles. Am I experiencing a bug or is there something that I'm missing?

Thanks in advance.

PS: this bug persists in version 4.5.

But can I take a shirt (or any clothing) that was made for Vicki 4, auto fit it to Genesis and then have "Genesis Generation X" transfer the generation4 morphs into the clothing so they can be used with Genesis?

So I ordered the Super Suit Suite.

And I go to available downloads...

And there are 17+ pages of files.

First, there's just the experience of downloading 17 pages of files from any site.

Then, there's the experience of running each individual installer and clicking 8 to 12 times to install the content, or going to a command prompt and adding some switches on the recent installers, and letting it grind with no feedback.

Then after all that, there's the joy of getting Daz to not add the directory a thousand times as duplicates.

So ponder me this...

Why not deliver all the content as zip files (for PC and MacOS), and then put an option on the file menu in Daz to "install content." That option would then allow you to bulk highlight the zip files, which would then be installed?

If you're going to send me 170 files, as part of a bundle, could you please do so as one installer so that I'm not spending the rest of my life clicking next?

Im really tearing my hair out here....

In a nutshell, the first time I ran Studio 4.0 64bit (free one, registered with the key), I got the animation tab, and was able to easily create a simple animation of a person jumping (Great!) with some presets.

I then downloaded some content (props etc) and added it to my library folders. I could still edit / use the animation tab. After a reboot, the animation tab went missing. Since then Ive uninstalled and reinstalled *twice*, and rebooted each time. Before installing the second time (Ie. after the second uninstall), I deleted the folders from my profile directory, app data folder, basically anywhere I could find a folder for DAZ. Made no difference. (Pose & Animate --> Posing Tab visible, no other tabs available)

Ive checked plugins and being only 6 hours old, the aniMate2 plugin is still showing 30 days. Ive tried different viewport configurations.... no luck.

Also, most the web links go to a dodgy looking web page with just some tags and basic URLs in them. All other app's web links work fine on my pc so doubt its another app.

IVe searched the forums and other than finding the search doesnt support parts of words, I didnt find anything useful. I can provide a screenshot if you like.

Someone please tell me what Im doing wrong here.... 6 hours wasted to get 60 frames of one test animation doesnt make for good productivity or help promote the product......

Thanks
