<p>I researched very much but I couldn&#39;t find out how to do that.</p>

<p>The hands always move between 2 actions up and down eventhough I pinned it by ActivePose Tool and Universal Tool, I also used the LockPartBody Script but it didn&#39;t work too.</p>

<p>Beside that, when I pin the hands and put the body up or down, it will mess and doesn&#39;t get the pose as I want.</p>

<p>Plz show me how I can do the push-up animation as demo.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi all, ever since I updated to the latest 4.9 version of DAZ - 4.9.1.30 64 bit on 3/12 via DIM - I am unable to keep both my settings and login info...&nbsp; Whenever DAZ opens it asks my whether or not to join the &quot;DAZ Studio Improvement Participation&quot; and then it takes me to the DAZ Connect Login screen page.&nbsp; Whether I answer yes or no on the 1st screen and yes I do use DAZ Connect so I provide my user name, login info, and tell DAZ to remember my info nothing is retained...&nbsp; In addition DAZ always opens with it&#39;s default &quot;City Limits Lite&quot; layout even though I have selected and saved my layout for &quot;City Limits&quot;.</p>

<p>Is anyone else experiencing this problem?&nbsp; If so how did you get it resolved??&nbsp; Could this be where something in the install has gotten so totally broken that I need to do an uninstall and then do a clean install?&nbsp; Note: my installation of the DAZ program is on a separate internal drive along with my other program files as I have a small SS Drive for my Windows 7-64 install and my content Files are on another internal hard drive...&nbsp; DAZ was originally installed on this computer which was new on 8/3/2015 so the updates since then where all provided through DIM.</p>

<p>Thanks in advance for your assistance as you can imagine how frustrating this is for me to have to go through all the time...</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I have realized why I do not use Daz Studio very often. Its because I do not use a mouse, and Studio doesn&#39;t really work with the tablet as it should. The mouse works great in moving about scenes, but with my wacom pen and tablet it is fustratingly slow to move about in Studio often taking 50 or 60 scrolls with the pen just to move my scene mere inches. I would like to request a preference like you have in Carrara for wacom compatibility, Or if its present tell me how to activate it or maximize it.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi everyone,</p>

<p>I&#39;m trying to export Genesis 2 Female to 3dsmax via FBX, in order to keep skinning, skeletal information and morphs. My main working and animating platform is 3dsmax, that&#39;s the reason I&#39;m trying to achieve this. The problem is, FBX export in DAZ seems not to support&nbsp;exporting other than the base mesh. This is very unreliable, as the mesh is just 21k and is very lacking in some areas (ears, eyes, face and others...). I&#39;d like to retain the 83K subdivided mesh (standard in&nbsp;DAZ) in this export process. Does anyone know how to bypass this limit?<br />
<br />
I&#39;ve tried a couple of possible solutions, but none of them have worked well. First is in 3dsmax,&nbsp;adding a Turbosmooth modifier (subdivide) on top of the Skin and Morpher stack, but this adds significant overweight to the scene.&nbsp;And for some reason, Max doesn&acute;t cope well with the result (I&#39;ve had a few crashes and&nbsp;inconsistencies in animation). And second&nbsp;is, exporting all the morphs one by one in OBJ format (which does support subdivided mesh) and then putting them back together in Max, before having to re-rig and skin the whole figure again (probably using the skeleton and skin info present in the base mesh export via FBX).<br />
<br />
Both ways seems either unreliable or terribly&nbsp;tedious... Is there any other way to get this done? Maybe some script? I&#39;ve read other people have done it using Mudbox as an intermediary (i can have access to Mudbox if required) but their method was not clearly explained. Can anyone help me out with this?<br />

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Hello there, Daz has been running well for about the past 6 months with no problems on Windows 7. I have just upgraded my PC to the Free Windows 10 Home edition, yes it runs fast and uses less Ram than Windows 7 ever did but I have a problem that only happens when using DAZ Studio? When I use the sliders in the parameters tab to edit objects the mouse jumps off setting and sometimes disappears from the screen, if I tab to windows desktop the mouse is ok. At present a large scene is impossible to work on. Is there any shortcut key to control the sliders in the parameters tab for editing with the keyboard I cannot find any info to help.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I would like to create some animated image layers that are like a lens cover on camera.</p>

<p>Deviney has some things that would work, if he some additonal images that had slight movement of the basic images included.</p>

<p>Yes, I can make the slight changes necessary...just another step</p>

<p>Mayber, there are some animaged images/graphics I can uise as image layers.</p>

<p>Transparent backgrounds would be necessary I suspect.</p>

<p>Examples -&nbsp; cockpits, first shooter, sci-fi high def graphic interfaces, etc.</p>

DAZ Studio couldn&#39;t find the content because it doesn&#39;t map the same default location that DIM uses to install its content! Wouldn&#39;t it make more sense to be sure both DAZ Studio and DIM have the same default install locations?! I&#39;d hope DAZ Connect would use the same logic also!</p>

<p>I have some old content for which the installed version is the only version I have left (HD failure), and the original downloads are no longer available. What&#39;s the best way to go about backing this stuff up? A program that 1. parses the selected library files and follows the references to find the Geometries and Textures files referenced 2. parses the files referenced and searches the runtime for files that reference them 3. Collects everything and saves it to a new location while keeping the directory structure intact would seem to be a good start. Is there anything like this?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;m still getting used to working&nbsp;with mesh lights and the such. &nbsp;I&#39;ve been trying to get my understanding worked out and have been digging through the forums. &nbsp;Please forgive any repeats of questions already answered because I havent been able to find the relevant threads.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>1. &nbsp;<em>Mesh Lights Showing Up as Reflections or White Patches on Surfaces.</em>&nbsp;&nbsp;I jave a render where the background texture is set with a non reflective shaded and texture. &nbsp;The problem isn&#39;t a standard mirror like reflection, it is simply that their is a fat glare appearing on the surface in the form of the mesh light in question. &nbsp;I located a suggestion to set the Cutout Opacity to 0.001 (may be off a zero, not looking at my program right now). &nbsp;This removed the problem. &nbsp;But, that led to my metal shades showing up black. &nbsp;Is there any other way to deal with this problem?</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>2. &nbsp;&nbsp;<em>Metal Shaders Coming up Black in Render.</em>&nbsp;&nbsp;In case the above isn&#39;t the reason, could someone let me know? &nbsp;They are showing up under the environment lights in testing, but this is an indoor scene using scene lights only.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>3. &nbsp;<em>Making Mesh Lights Invisible in Render.</em>&nbsp;&nbsp;Sure I missed this one since I am sure it is common. &nbsp;But, I would like to know the how. &nbsp;I have presets for Iray mesh lights from Callada sets off of deviant art. &nbsp;They work fine normally and the metal issue only showed up with the changes in #1. &nbsp;</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;m wondering if this is possible: Say I have two figures locked in a wrestling hold. I&#39;ve got arms, fingers, legs, etc., where I want them. Then I think that if the chests and abdomins were bent forward and to the side (for one figure) and backward and to the side (for the other figure), the hold would look better. Problem is, I don&#39;t want to loose the positioning of the arms, hands, fingers, etc.&nbsp;</p>

<p>So, is it possible to select the abdomins and chests of both figures and bend or rotate them together, letting the collars, shoulders, forearms, hands, fingers, necks and heads all move along? (It would save me a lot of time if this were possible.)</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;m noticing that adjusting EV or Shutter Speed will also adjust the other, and that F-stop will also adjust the EV. I can change these independently on my own camera, and enjoy the flexibility, is there a way to unlink them so I can get the same behaviour from within Studio?</p>

<p>-edited to include ISO, as apparently that will also change EV. I don&#39;t know what cm^2 is, but that does it too. lol</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Texture atlas not rendering out,  normal, displacement, or ambient maps, even though i have them checked in the export options!<br />
 <br />
 When i export an atlas uv, I keep everything checked,   diffuse, opacity, bump, specular, ambient, displace, and normal...... they all have checks in the boxes.     but after i click on accept.. and check in the uv atlas folder where all my uv atlases are saved.. all i see is  my diffuse, opacity, bump, and specular.   </p>

<p>is this a bug?  or am i doing something wrong,.. I am saving it out at 4000x 4000  I tried to save it as a bmp and a png,.  stil lno dice. </p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>An occassional problem I have encountered when rendering some scenes is what I call 'Sparklies'.  They appear as small square groups coloured dots in what appears to be random points on a render.</p>

<p>Whilst not very odten, this issue has cropped up over various machines I have owned and so I'm pretty certain it's not my hardware.  Whether it's cause by various combinations of Light Type/Setting in relation to a prop/surface setting I know not but I do know is  - it's really annoying.</p>

<p>The image section of the ISS iwas just a quick test with the Blue Planet prop initialy using the Blue Planet light which is a Distant Light preset in Deep Shadow Map mode.  Whilst I suspect it may have something to do with being in Deep Shadow Map mode (I just tried it in Raytrace no problem) I may be wrong.</p>

<p>I want to make a duvet (or blanket)cover for my figure. I want to do this in Daz Studio 4.8 64 bit. Is it&nbsp;correlating from CLOTHING SHADER/TABS (hardness&nbsp;or&nbsp;softness for any item/blanket)?</p>

<p>Please, is anyone of you know&#39;s how to do it?</p>

<p>but i dont want a scary werewolf or lykin, im kind of new to genesis and the creature creature dosent seem to have a dog face or&nbsp;</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I did a cursory check of the archives and didn&#39;t see an answer. So pardon me if it has been explained before. &nbsp;Is there a way of controlling more than one object at once within <strong>puppeteer?</strong></p>

<p>&nbsp;<strong><em>Extreme Example</em></strong> I have a genisis figure inside a&nbsp;Deep Sea Diver Suit. &nbsp;I turned off most visability of Genisis using just the head parented to the neck of the suit and am animating the suit as the person inside it. The suit has a seperate pair of gloves and&nbsp;boots parented to the suit. All follows with the suit where ever and however the suit is moved, even&nbsp;in Puppeteer BUT,,,, lets say I want to create poses in which the figure moves to a position where the arms move up, the hands of the gloves (close) or open (moving the fingers) while closing his eyes and opening his mouth and pointing the toes of the boots. &nbsp;According to what I know about Puppeteer I have to move the eyes and mouth, position of the head on one layer. Move the arms and body of the suit on an other layer. Move&nbsp;the fingers and hand on another layer. The boots, pointing the toes of the boots on a different layer,,, etc.</p>

<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;Then to record it as an animation, I would have to record sepeate passes for each layer hoping to get them in sync or together&nbsp;to make the final complete motion of one figure reaching up grasping the hands, opening his eyes, looking at the object, and opening his mouth, while getting on his tippy toes. &nbsp;BUT if I could some how get all the layers to work together, I could set up several motions where all these things can pe posed together then record it in one pass to the timeline. Making it so much easier. &nbsp; Does anyone know if it is possible to controll all these seperate object which are really together with in Puppeteer on one layer, so I can puppet everything at the same time. Puppeteer&nbsp;which I think is a fabulous tool to make animations, would be so much better if this were possible.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>by the way I am currently still using DS 4.6.&nbsp;</p>

<p>I&#39;d like to create a custom morph that appears under Shaping / Actor / People.</p>

<p>The morph is a combination of spinning differnt dials, ex, height, weight, face shape, etc....</p>

<p>So basicly once I spin my dials and create a charector I like, i&#39;d like to save it as a custom morph.</p>

<p>There&#39;s a tutorial that i&#39;ve seen and used, I just can&#39;t remeber anything aboput the process except that i have to do an erc freeze.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[I got started with Poser way back in the V3 days. Those were the bad old days when Poser could turn into a nightmare if you had too much stuff in your library, so a lot of people suggested keeping several runtimes, so that's what I did. Now I'm thinking about combining my V4 runtime into my DS runtime, since most of the stuff in my DS runtime is V4 anyway. And separate runtimes don't seem to be doing me any good these days.

My question is, how would you go about this, and what problems do you foresee? This is a "clean" runtime, in that there's no Poser install, just V4 content. My plan so far:

1. Back up the V4 runtime.
2. Cut-Paste all the non-library folders from the V4 runtime into the approprate DS directory (skipping any conflicts that arise, so that I have a record of sorts of what the conflicts were).
3. Move the library folders over by hand, since they can go wherever. Might keep it as-is, and just "tag" each top-level folder with a code word so I know from looking at it that I migrated it from the old runtime.

I know I'm overthinking this. I can't think of what might go wrong (as long as I'm careful with the library folders), but on the other hand, if something DID make me want to get the chocolate back out of the peanut butter, I'd be up the creek. I could back up both runtimes first, but then there would be the issue of what changes in the meantime, so I'd have to keep three backups.]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Well, I just started&nbsp;working with indoor scenes most recently besided indoor HDRI lights. I am having a problem with lighting. The scenes always seem to be very dark as compared to the scrreenshots this includes the ready to render setup for i13 new bathroom scene. The only way I can seem to get decent lighing is by rmoving the ceiling.</p>
