      <description><![CDATA[<p>hello I have a problem with denoiser I use it to render frames faster but the problem is basically the same as when I solved it here, I updated my graphics card to a new upgrade and it does it again only this time as if the error is in the denoiser .. do I have to put the control on the one where the error did not occur there ? with the old update nvidia driver everything is always fine so do you have any IDEAS ?&nbsp; ? I&#39;VE BEEN USING A DENOISER FOR A LONG TIME, THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A PROBLEM&nbsp;&nbsp;THIS IS HOW I STILL HAVE THE DENOISER SET</p>

<br />
Now, every time I add&nbsp;even a base Genesis 8 to a scene, that morph will always be set to 100%.<br />
<br />
Not a big deal cause I can just set it to 100% and go about my business but it is a bit of a nuisance, I didn&#39;t intend this behavior, and all that.</p>

<p>When I started DAZ this afternoon there was no activity bar. To klick on the activity bar entry in the window-worksapce menue showed the tab for a moment then it disappeared and there is a new tab &quot;Advanced&quot; where the activity bar shoul be.</p>

<p>Anyone any idea what happened? What can I have done wrong?</p>

Although the first 40 frames are drawn for 30 seconds each. After 40-50-60 seconds and so on to infinity. In the old version of DAZ with the same computer parameters this was not observed. Who faced such a problem?</p>

<p>I&#39;m looking to create my own characters for Daz, in a very low-poly style. I&#39;m talking about really low-poly characters, like <a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.google.es/search?q=low+-poly&amp;espv=2&amp;biw=1830&amp;bih=1163&amp;source=lnms&amp;tbm=isch&amp;sa=X&amp;ved=0ahUKEwjpgcb_98nKAhVKaD4KHaYnASUQ_AUIBigB#tbm=isch&amp;q=crossy+roads">Crossy roads</a> and many other games around using this style. The reason to use Daz3D for this is that I&#39;m really used to it and prefer to not have&nbsp;to learn other software as Blender (I&#39;ve seen tons of tutorials for Blender, for none for daz)</p>

<p>I&#39;ve also seen the Decimator plugin in the store, and also have played with Hexagon, but I&#39;m not sure any of these would be the way to go. Any suggestion or tutorial to follow? I really appreciate</p>

For some reason, I can&#39;t find properties per surface in the surfaces tab. And some are missing, like the base color. Even when I drill down to the base tab, I can&#39;t see it.<br />
I can only see them when I select All, and this is not good because it selects all the surfaces, and I only want one.</p>

<p>Truth is that I&#39;m quite puzzled. It&#39;s a closeup portrait of Twosret 8 with the hair, a top, two earrings and one ring. Render subd levels are 4 for the model, 3 for the hair and 2 for the top.&nbsp;And it is almost literally taking forever to render at 1920 x 1920 pixels on an RTX 4090. Every iteration takes like 4 or 5 seconds at that resolution. Is that normal? On the original 3840x3840 it was much worse, as you can imagine.</p>

<p>Windows 11 Pro and Daz Studio 4.22.0.19 general release.</p>

<p>EDIT: I don&#39;t know what was going on exactly. But I&#39;ve turn on the PC and run the Studio now and the scene renders quite normally. Nothing of the problems I had seen before.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I have been using poser now for a few years. I decided to give DAZ a try, well it is free after all. i fiannly got the basics down but am having an issue with the program lighting. In poser to set up my scene I first remove all lights then put 1 area light abobe the scene just to get the props and people into place. then i remove that light and add lights to effect. the problem is in DAZ 4.9 Ther is always a light in the viewport and when i render even with no lights the scene. It is alwlays brightly lit and the shadow extends to the right menaing ther is a light source to the left that is causing this shadow. When i rotate the camera ther is no light in the scene. I have been trying to figure this out for days now and am at my wits end with this. I keep seeing somthing about a headlamp on other discussion bords but see no settings for this nore do i see a icon where they say. I really want to like this program but if i can not turn off the lights this is useless. I am at my wits end with this. Can anybody offer any guidance on this?</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;ve seen this discussed for other people, but it never happened to me.&nbsp; I just reinstalled Studio et al. copying assets from my old iMac to a new Mac Mini.&nbsp; Everything works pretty well once I got paths pointed to the right places, but have found that Genesis 8M is loading with Darius 8 body and head set to 100%.&nbsp; I uninstalled and reinstalled Genesis 8 Male Essentials and Darius 8, but it is still happening.&nbsp; Oddly, this does not happen on the iMac from which stuff was copied.</p>

<p>What&#39;s the fix for this?</p>

I used puppeteer most of the time to animate my character. I found out that genesis 8 characters tend to lag when trying to record animation via puppeteer especially if there are body movement involved. I don&#39;t get this lag when i record with other genesis characters. Is there a possible way to fix this?</p>

My alternative is to export 2 models and use a script in my external applications to copy the UV of Gen 8 onto a second UV channel on the exported Gen 8.1.&nbsp;Thanks.</p>
