The lights are simple point lights but they are creating thick lines that I can&#39;t get rid of. They move when I move the candles so they are related to positioning but there is nothing I can see creating them except for the edge of the light itself which is just a point light. See file.</p>

<p><span>I have always approached rendering procedural fog plus tight camera focusing, with some trepidition. This was impossible with older hardware but is possible now; however, the render and scene settings need management.</span></p>

<p><span>Here are my solutions for a low specs render machine (NVidia 3060 RTX rig with 32 GB RAM, i7 11 gen intel core, Daz Studio 4.23.01). The last screencapture is of my own Atmospheric Fog settings and will vary from scene to scene.</span></p>

<p>so added a child bone to the hip</p>

<p>selected the tail and filled with weightpaint and smoothed junction</p>

<p>all fine, it bends</p>

<p>additional info CANNOT ever memorise rigging on my Mixamo FBX imports or it will destroy it so don&#39;t suggest that&nbsp;<img alt="devil" src="https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/devil_smile.png" title="devil" /></p>

<p>but</p>

<p>now&nbsp;it spins on the hip playing the animation</p>

<p>my other solution will be to create a morphloader tail morph but the rigging should have worked</p>

      <description><![CDATA[I'm creating a feminine male character that needs to have smaller frame and curves same as a girl, but chest area as to be masculine shape. I tried using breast gone and small breast morphs and not getting good results. Any way to exclude chest from full body morphs such as feminine body base and anime toon feminine base body etc?

I want to do this without sculpting in zbrush/blender, i can't sculpt. Any advice?

      <description><![CDATA[<p>The title pretty much says it all: I have installed Daz Studio 4.23.0.1 on my D Drive, which is:</p>

<ul>
	<li>D:\Documents on D\DAZ3D\My Daz 3D Library</li>
	<li>D:\Programs on D\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4</li>
</ul>

<p>But, my One Drive (on my C drive) is all clogged up with a lot of thumbnails and json files (about 13,500 of them!).</p>

<ul>
	<li>C:\Users\mmitc\OneDrive\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Daz Connect Library\data\cloud\meta</li>
</ul>

<p>QUESTIONS:</p>

<ol>
	<li>Is there a way to move that directory?</li>
	<li>Can I do it without reinstalling the entire app and all content (which I am willing to do, but it&#39;s not my first choice)?
	<ol>
		<li>If I do have to reinstall it, is there something I need to do to prevent this from happening again?</li>
	</ol>
	</li>
</ol>

<p>A side note: I need OneDrive for work, so disabling it is NOT an option.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>One day, I saved a file as Scene Subset (while in Rendering preview mode), and unexpectedly, it was&nbsp;saved with Thumbnail image&nbsp;exactly like the Rendering preview display. And I did it with many other objects and characters.</p>

<p>Then, when I opened my computer the following day, I couldn&#39;t do it anymore. My Thumbnail images became Shader preview image, like any normal day, although I had turned it to Rendering preview mode while saving it.</p>

<p>I&rsquo;m having an issue where some edges on my model are marked as sharp directly in Daz 3D. These hard edges are clearly visible in the viewport. The model looks fine in Blender, where no edges are marked as sharp, but in Daz, these unwanted sharp edges appear.</p>

<p>Here&rsquo;s what I&rsquo;ve tried so far:</p>

<ul>
	<li>Adjusted the <strong>Smoothing Angle</strong> in the <strong>Surfaces</strong> tab</li>
	<li>Verified the geometry in Blender before importing (removed all sharp edges and ensured smooth shading).</li>
	<li>Checked the <strong>Geometry Editor</strong> in Daz but couldn&rsquo;t find a clear way to reset or fix these sharp edges.</li>
</ul>

<p>Despite these steps, the sharp edges remain in Daz. Does anyone know how to fix this? Is there a way to clear sharp edges or smooth them out directly in Daz 3D?</p>

<p>Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Lately, it seems like nearly all the characters I buy from the Daz store end up looking almost identical to each other, rather than being unique as advertised on their product pages.</p>

<p>I have no idea what&#39;s causing this strange issue. I&#39;ve purchased several different characters from various vendors, yet when I load them into Daz from my library, they all appear the same&mdash;only differentiated by their texture maps.</p>

<p>My older characters, both Genesis 8 and 9, work perfectly fine with no problems. It&#39;s just the newer models I&#39;ve bought in the last few months that are broken. I&#39;ve even tried reinstalling Daz and redownloading the assets, but the issue persists.<br />

I&#39;ve checked their parameters and found no sliders set to any percentages that the creator might have accidentally left enabled.</p>

      <title>Postgre SQL CMS not working for new computer install</title>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>I bought a&nbsp; new computer, and have now installed Daz 4.23 and content from the Daz Install Manager.&nbsp; I downloaded the most recent (I think) Postgree SQL CMS ver. 9.3.4.&nbsp; The installer put the files under C:\program files\DAZ 3D\ Pastgre SQL CMS.&nbsp; However, I continue to get an error message that the program is not working properly, and the Smart Content area remains blank.&nbsp; I can use the downloaded content from the &quot;right-side&quot; content in the program, and the Install Manager finds everything and downloads it.&nbsp; Note that the CMS Cluster folder is empty.&nbsp; I am perplexed.&nbsp; Do you have any suggestions that might help me?&nbsp;</p>
