Arctic Research One has preloads of both a single and three pod version of these self sufficient research pods. The stark colors provide the necessary visibility in cases where people lose their way in the snow and or darkness. Strong floodlights provide additional visibility aids. The safety ropelines help guide the personnel between the pods. Given their distant locations and inaccessibility, these units use self-sufficient Solar panels power to run the equipment, and satellite dishes offer global communications.

The large tempered glass GeoDome provides and optional enclosure for the roof walkway above the pod which can be used as a protected terrarium or enclosed observation deck, accessed through the upper hatch.

The included ground terrain has textured deep snow and snow print paths. Each pod can be accessed from ladders and the central pod has an additional enclosed entrance perfect for storage. The doors and hatches slide open with open/close morphs.

Included is a shader to apply velvet to any current texture, as well as five other scripts, whereby what you select, will apply different looks and designs of velvet.

A very special feature of this shader is that each setting that has an image, has it's own tiler setting. With this you will be able to use texture sets that contain transmaps in order to change the 'cut' of the object (as seen in many of the MFD texture sets), but still tile a design without the transmap also tiling. This desert is like none other, and few dare to travel here, for long, long ago a great glowing mass fell from the sky and shattered on the earth. Strange rock formations, like the crystals used by healers, sprouted up from the ground, all aglow in the twilight. Priests and shamans thought these stones could be used for healing, like many others, and set out into the desert to attain their power. When the good people finally reached the glowing stones, something about the crystals altered their minds, and they began to dwell among the stones and build temples to them. Then one night, guided by the light of the stones they carried, the lost priests attacked, wielding unholy power. Thus began the Great War. At last the desert dwellers were put down, but the ruins of their temples in the desert still stand as many fear to go out into the wastes to tear them down.

  Shibaigoya means "small theater," which a small theatrical company will use to put on public performances. This setting is Bunraku, also known as Ningyou Joururi. It is a form of traditional Japanese puppet theatre, and consists of all male Ningyou-tsukai (puppeteers), Tayuu (chanter) and Shamisen player.

  Makuno-uchi translates to "an intermission." This food dates back to the Edo Period (1603 to 1867), when it was served during the intermissions of Noh and Kabuki theater performances. Each of the food props are separated on purpose so that you can get to them with your chopsticks!

  My Bento includes Sashimis, tempura of the Shrimp, grilled fish, Tofu and boiled vegetables with small rice balls...and more!! The small rice balls are practical to be "eaten by the mouthful" in an intermission! Please enjoy!!
