switching between cameras not responding

Hello I don’t know if this is only a problem I’m having but in Daz Studio 4.5 latest version after the update, when I load big scenes like for example the 3d extension canyon , when I try to switch to a different camera , or to the option to look trough light it takes very long time to respond , like it gets stuck and everything will freeze for me . sometimes I need to wait 4 minutes until it response and than the mnue to choose from will pop up on my screen
does anyone knows if there is a fix for this ? or what making this problem?

I think it is related to your mysterious disk space issues…

I’m beginning to think you may have a viral infection.  Because, if you really do have the disk space you think you do, then you shouldn’t have half the problems you are having.  The length of time it’s taking is probably a caching delay and if you’ve got lots of drive space it shouldn’t take that long, but if you are short on drive space or physical memory then it can slow things down, immensely.

Lesser PCs than yours don’t have the same problems.

I did many times scan to my computer with antivirus but all turn out ok , so not sure what is the problem . I use CC cleaner all the time and also use the registry fixes option inside cc cleaner all the time , I did disk clean up ....

All right…let’s try something different.

Disable the ‘active’ parts of CCleaner…the ‘every 20 minutes’ that you mentioned in the other thread.

With your processor and video card you should not be experiencing any kind of slowness.

There are a couple of warnings about the Valentina Database, which I think is the CMS.

But I don’t know if that would slow down screen updates.

ok thank you ..sorry it just I struggle with the program already a few months , it got to a point I’m about to lose it smile

could it be the problem is installed in c:program files
and not c : program files X86
I do own 64 bit

and please… can some one guide me on how to do a complete clean uninstall to daz and reinstall it ?
after doing it so many times I probably screwed up something and now after updating to the latest version all my smart content is gone only my library content shows
even after I did import data to all my content

I have daz folder inside C driver - program files
I also have a daz folder inside C program file 86 X common files
and also inside program data
before I install a new version do I need to delete them or not ?

It was the case ... CMS did slowed it down
after doing what mschack suggested in this forum post

most of my problems now solved .
