My mum went into ER yesterday afternoon, she is in the hospital. She has a massive infection and went into diabetic shock. She is currently in stable condition. We are hoping for a speedy recovery.

I am so sorry to hear that and I wish her a speedy recovery.

I hope it turns out to be nothing more than a minor inconvenience. I have diabetes and it is a pain.

I got a foot injury about 2 months ago and I am still recovering from it because the diabetes slows down healing.

I wish her and you the best.

just got word, she is doing much better, she should be home tomorrow

I remember the last time my mom was in the hospital.  To say the least I was a tad stressed.

Lost my mum thirty five years ago when she was younger than I currently am, due to similar complications.  Didn’t help the situation that she smoked as well.

I’ve almost lot my mom two or three times since 2009

Still trying to get her to actually quit smoking and not just lie about it
