I know this question has been asked a few times before over the past couple of years, but I am asking again as I could not find any answers. With respect to using a 3D mouse for navigation such as the models provided by 3Dconnexion, there is compatibility in DAZ Studio 4.5, but not for Carrara 8.5

Are there any plans to bring Carrara up to speed with Daz Studio? Even SmithMicro’s Poser works with the 3D mouse! Carrara (expensive as it is, compared to other software) is feeling outdated.

Agreed, this would be a very useful function to add. It has been requested many times, guess it can’t hurt to bring it up again. In the bugtracker, there is a feature request for this, so you might want to add your name there as well.
