I like Bryce, DazStudio, Poser and Vue ... in alphabetical order. And I would probably like Carrara too, if I could find the time to become acquainted with it. Peace?

Someone said no genesis, but if where allowing all the things made from Hiro3 And Aiko3 then the genesis shapes should be allowed as well.

Haha no I mean, is there really a difference in the two? I always thought the genesis one was identical, at leads I was hoping they were… Some really nice renders!

What does a different mesh mean exactly? Wouldn’t it just be that the older ones been worse?

Okay, if GenX conversions are allowable, here is A3 Salome run through GenX, wearing Navari’s skin and one of Melody’s outfits and hair.
The hair conversion was a little problematic, but the outfit came through fairly well. There is a bit of mesh crumpling in the lower skirt, but the skirt is transparent enough that you’d have to really hunt for it.

It means DAZ started over from scratch with each new generation of base model, (pic to illustrate) and as you can see gen 3 has some issues.

Huh. Evil clowns, much? Small wonder that DAZ isn’t going to try to make it possible to use Gen3 textures on Genesis.
I do think that it is really nice we can use just ablut any Gen4 *or* Gen5 texture on Genesis almost without issue.
