Three days ago I saved a shape preset for a character, or rather was intending to save it, as it was already 3 o’clock in the morning and the Sandman was passing for the third time.

It looked as it had worked, but the next day whenever I want to load Genesis Base or any character, it has as well the shape and settings of my custom character applied.

Since I had to install Genesis Essentials 1.4, I was not worried, deleted the .duf in People/Genesis and the .dsf in Data/... Genesis/Base, installed 1.4 and fired up DS, but it still happens, this blasted modifications are still injected into anything Genesis based.

Does anybody know where to find the culprit files?

Sounds like you saved an actual morph rather than a preset, one that has a non zero setting so every time you load Genesis it’s being auto dialed. Check in the “data/DAZ 3D/Genesis/Base/Morphs” folder and sub-folders for it.
