Jerriecan, of course you can post WIPs in here, you can post anything within the TOS in here, the only rule is there are no rules!
Your render looks good, but (there’s always a but, right?) the left hand is almost clenching a fist, indicating anger or frustration, but her face indicates apathy or resignation, and as a viewer I’m left a bit confuzzled.  Though maybe I’m reading more into it than there really is.

I’ve had a bad evening, blood sugar rose to a whonking great 21.7, so I took excessive amounts of insulin and now it’s on the brink of a hypo (it’s currently 4.2) so I’m a little worried that I might have overcompensated.  Either way, I’m off to bed.  Nighty night.

Was my own fault, we went for a meal out and I had no insulin to take, and I asked for Diet Coke and didn’t recognise the fact that I had normal full sugar Diabetic-Killer Coke.

Then when I got home I took too much insulin.

And now I feel like my head might fall off if I don’t expend all my energy just to keep it up straight!

Bad job, Barry. lol

Was going to play with Genesis and Carrara 8.5 but none of my clothing is showing up in smart content so I can’t be bothered!

UM… Can I have an honest opinion? Does this background go okay with this guy? Was having trouble deciding on a background design.

Looks ok to me, but there’s a white ‘halo’ around the guy where you’ve cut him out.  It’s a pain to get rid of that.

I was not going to say anything but yes it does, a easy fix is to reduce the selection size a pixel at a time until it works better. You can and will lose detail in the edges but you can remove the halo, also turn off antialise.

Another way to do it is to render against a background the same colour as the one you are going to use, so the thin line is the same colouras it and blends better.

That’s a cut and Paste Photo my dear, not a render.

Try feathering the edges of the guy - that will help soften the line between the person and the background.
