It’s a family thing. My #2 son owns it and I’m trying to drum up business for him.
I figured out how to change the background for the Holiday Room aka Lyrra’s Room aka Granny’s Room. It was used in the BC in Aug 2011. I went to Parameters - Diffuse and substituted the background I wanted for the black backdrop it came with. Now I need to clean it up, l need to light a fire in the fireplace, and get busy knitting.
I am learning a lot these days, I’m buried in my books and putting what I learn into practice, mostly in 3DS Max.
Modelling is fun.
On a somewhat related note, I am going to try to post more. I have been neglecting the forum quite deliberately I’m afraid. The home situation has got so bad that I’m extremely grumpy most of the time, but I want to put more effort into this side of my life.
Running backwards in circles, naturally. Barry, get rid of those grumpy drawers and put on some happy ones. Maybe a pair with bells on them would cheer you up. Sometimes I wonder why we have to have a real-life. Virtual ones can be so much better.

Crap on a cracker, I found out this USB headset microphone set up can be unplugged from what is an adapter in the middle of the line. I can plug-in the headphone in one plug in the microphone in the other plug. Then all my sound for every program goes into the headset, but here’s the but, because I trained Dragon NaturallySpeaking using the USB microphone my profile, the thing that it uses to understand me, will not work with the standard microphone. After a week plus of training this thing to understand me and everybody’s handles that I put in so far will need to be done all over from scratch. If I swap it from USB, hearing everything through the headphones, and talking to it at the same time, will force me to start back at day one.
