1) the hot point is the pivot point the object transforms around, it is usually dead centre you want it at base of object for replication
press caps lock and moving transform arrow will shift it without moving the object.
2) edit up top, undo

I haven’t given up yet.  I need to practice the hot spot some more. 

I could see undo, but it was grayed out.  I need to keep better notes so I’ll know what I was trying to undo.  I resorted to closing the document without saving.  No problem, gives me more practice.  Each time I’m a little faster at it and get further along.

Say, if i set two keyframes and set their tweener to Drscrete and I wantr it to do that same thing for 2 seconds, do i make a keyframe at the 2 second mark and set the tweener to Oscilate?

Anne, that’s not even hard. It’s as easy as flicking a switch up and down as the clock ticks.
