Are you ready for a major portion of my first major project for Genesis??  Well it’s here and UPDATED so if you have downloaded before Oct 8th, 2012 then you will need to re-download the pack and allow it to overwrite the old data!

RAMWorks Morphs for Genesis

What’s been updated?

7 Full body Female shapes
7 Breast shapes
2 New breast “droop morphs”
1 New “Cleavage” morph

Main reasoning for the update is that the areola’s where out of whack.  When applying a skin to the shapes, which I didn’t test, my bad, they were humongous and quite ugly.  I do admit to liking larger areola’s but this was overkill but it was my own fault by not checking things out using a texture set.  So those 14 morphs (breasts and body shapes) had to be redone.  While I was at it I decided to get things more realistic here and there so did some hunting on the web for REAL women!  raspberry Not easy to find them though, most look like porn stars…. YUK… so the shapes have slight tweaks to hips, legs, back and butt.  Hope they are all to your liking.  grin

Please read the ReadME below:

Hiya,

Was going to hold off a bit longer but I think it’s time to just put these out there.

Here is the bulk of the morphs I’ve created.  See the note below the main list…..

You will need to install and then load up a fresh Genesis.  You will find a whole new section called RAMWorks.  Expand and you will find sub sections:
RAMWorks:
Enhancements
Female
Head Enhancements
Head Shapes
Universal

The following will come at a later date:
Body Fixes
Bruno Full
Fantasy Shapes

Now the legal stuff…..

You are authorized to use these presets for use with Genesis in renders, free and commercial.  You are NOT permitted to sell any part of my morphs in a pack or give them away.  If someone wants this pack they can come to the freepozitory and download them.  These are fully original and have full proof of creation via ZBrush and OBJ files.  So please be respectful and don’t do wrong by me by taking advantage in doing something morally wrong and unlawful.

THANKS and ENJOY!  grin

Richard (RAMWolff - Wolffie - RAMWorks)

ADDED NOTE:  If you are a Genesis fan keep in mind, while the morphs are not going to work the maps will work perfectly.  So you have ONE more texture option for Genesis since it natively used V4’s UV’s.  grin

Also Morris’s Zere, Jinn and Xavier for Vittorio 4, found here at DAZ3D are more scrumptious male textures made for V4’s Vittorio and will of course work perfectly on Genesis without having to switch UV’s! grin

This is Bruno for Vittorio 4 and M4 Enhanced (note: Morph is designed for Vittorio 4 so won’t work for M4)  In order to use this pack with M4 you will need to use the remapped version of M4 Enhanced that will allow M4 to take V4 maps.

Bruno - Studio Version

Bruno - Poser Version

Click the pics for a full view!

Both packs are 46 Mb’s each!  Fair Warning!!

Please read the ReadME!  Important info within.  It’s not a long read, I promise you!! wink

A note to those that like the morph, please be aware that the shoulders and triceps in some poses are going to look “off” so you will have to reduce those morphs down.

Packs used for this morph is derived from:
Victoria 4.1 Morphs++
Victoria 4.1 Muscle Morphs
Morphs from Vittorio 4 Complete

Enjoy and please post renders. smile ~

Yes, they are.  The female shapes you see are all just body shapes.  I wanted to do more of a Rubenesque shape but the bending got really weird with extreme poses and until I learn how to do ERC’s I had to beg off of doing more of that as I like the idea of having shapes like that for doing Renaissance types of renders.  In time The body shapes in the beginning had nipple morphs included but when redoing all of the shapes I decided to smooth those out and make separate nipple morphs.

Also completed 7 skin shaders that you can apply to just about any skin type by using the Ctrl key while double clicking on the icon.  Most are meant to enhance the Bruno skin but I imagine they will work on just about any skin.  Kinda fun.  Enjoyed making them…. They will be included in the finalized Bruno for Genesis package….

I bought the M4 Enhanced package on sale and have only used it once, as it loaded slowly on my lowly dual core, 3ghz system.  But this makes me know that when I leave here, I’ll be headed toward poser to play with it again.

Thank you! I hate not using things I buy.  If I use this anywhere, I’ll credit you.  I never credit purchases, but freebies require credit.

Aww, thanks!

Finally getting the Genesis genital issue under control so happy about that.  Working in Photoshop CS6 and so far it’s pretty good.  Seems that folks will NEED the remapped version of the genitals for M5, I’ll have to locate the freebie, it’s here somewhere.  SO what happens is that you will need to set it to V4 when it’s loaded and grafted to Genesis and the maps will work how I’ve got them set up.  They are NOT perfect but unless you doing super close ups you will be pleased with how it looks.  I know Bruno is very happy right now.. he’s dancing around the render room with glee!  lmao raspberry

Up next since it keeps getting buried.  My tutorial for getting HR2 and PP2 props like jewelry conformed to Genesis…. works very well.

.

1) Load up Genesis, keep Genesis selected.

.

2) Load up Hair (.hr2) or prop (.pp2) (like Antennae or similar) it will then be auto parented to the correct area, ie: Head

.

note: DO NOT reposition the prop, DO NOT!

.

3) Look up at your icons on the main tool bar and look for the “bone with a band-aid” or if your more of a menu person look under Tools menu click that (Key strokes are: Alt-Shift-J, select the parented object in the Scene tab.  It will become highlighted in white.

.

4) Go to the Tools Settings panel and click in the little menu box in the upper right corner of the tab, the menu will fly out. If you don’t have this tab activated you can find it under: Window > Tabs > Tool Settings

.

5) Edit > Convert Prop to Figure :  Leave it as it is: radio buttons clicked ON: TriAx Weight Mapping and Inherit Skeleton of Parent click Accept. The Edit > Convert Prop to Figure option can be found in the context sensitive menu on the top right corner of the Tools Setting pane/dialog.

.

Once this is done the newly boned prop will now be a figure and automatically unparented from Genesis!

6) Then go up to the Scene tabs fly out menu, click that and Assets> Transfer Utility and follow the steps below:
.
a: Source: Scene Item: Genesis
Item Shape: Clone, a dialog will pop up, choose Michael 4 (or Victoria 4 depending on what the prop was originally made for)

b: Target: Scene Item: converted prop name will be in the selections, select that!
Item Shape: Default (leave this setting alone for this transfer)

.

5) Projection Template: If it’s a face mask, antennae I chose Hair> Short… your call….

.

Show Options, click this to expand

.

6) Leave all checked that’s checked but also check “Reverse Source Shape From Target” and “Add Smoothing Modifier”

.

7) Click: Accept and let it run.

.

Once this is finished then you need to save this out as a .duf file.

.

8) File> Save As> Support Asset fly out and choose the top most item in the menu:  Figure/Prop Assets

.

9) Save dialog will come up.
a: Name the Vendor Name: (whom ever made it or your name, up to you)
b: Name the Product Name: converted Props name, no spaces or _ to connect the words if you want.
c: Leave the “Item Name” filled in as it is!

.

10) Click Accept.

.

My Antennae that I made for M4 to do a Chameleon Boy character works perfectly.  All the morphs are there and resizes just fine!

.

I’ve also brought over SAV’s Spartacus and Goldtassels Timeless Male Hair and both look awesome.

.

Please don’t forget, as much as you want to move the prop into place please don’t do that.  Just leave it where ever it loads.  It will conform perfectly.  IF you do move it and it conforms like crap don’t come in here and tell me I’m giving bad advice.  I’ve tried it 10 ways to Sunday and found leaving it in place as it loads into the scene is how it’s supposed to load and will conform very nicely to Genesis and work as expected.

.

Hope this proves useful to some folks!  grin

Does anyone own AprilYSH’s Lyon hair set (has the cool pirate type hat and feather ruff) Made for M4 originally.  Using my tutorial above I brought the hair over to Genesis and the ruff and hat are cr2’s so transferring them both to Genesis was easy enough.

Anyway, I made a preset pack for it.  There are 24 options for the hair, 8 options for the ruff and 8 options for the hat.  Below are some renders of the hair options.

Being a hairdresser you know I’m going to dig in and make sure the colors and shine are as close as I can get to the real thing.  Even the crazy colors look pretty touchable to me.  Can’t think of any more combos.  There are the basics of blonde, black, brown, red, gray and white.  Then the fun started happening.  April had released the original set with Poser type mats that work pretty well in DS but I just don’t need all that Uber and HSS stuff.  This takes advantage of the basic Advanced Surfaces so folks that tend to not use the Uber or HSS stuff will not have to worry about needing all the installed right regardless of the updates to DAZ Studio.

http://www.ramwolffsworld.com/3D_Directory/Packs/LyonHairPresets.zip

Please note that the folder structure is set up like the hair has already been converted to Genesis.  You can move these presets to another area if you wish.  There are NO textures included.  YOU MUST ALREADY OWN A COPY of AprilYSH’s Lyon pack for this to work!

Links for the conversion tutorial as well as to the Lyon Hair set, sold here at DAZ3D, are included within the ReadMe included so please take a moment to read it.

ENJOY!  grin

Just tried this with the CeCe Veil Hair .hr2 and it has done a pretty much bang up job, thanks Wolffie smile

Y’all are welcome.  I need to get in touch with April about the conversion and see what she wants to do with it.  If she wants to have it to add to the product as a free update she can have it.  grin
