As far as I am aware complying with the DMCA is cheap for the hosting company - they get a notice, they take the product down and pass the notice on to the uploader. If the uploader sends a counter notice they reactivate the file and send the counter notice to the complainant. It should be a no-lawyers-involved process.
In theory, yes. In reality, not so much. There is liability involved with both operations, and then there is the issue of dispute upon the reactivation of the file. If the uploader is in the wrong, issues the reactivation forms, and the provider reactivates the files, the provider becomes liable for damages to the challenger. Then there is the issue that can be pursued by either party (whichever was in the right) about the “due diligence” of the provider. This also becomes a problem with disparate locales and liabilities that exist across jurisdictions. There’s NOTHING that doesn’t involve a lawyer when you’re running a business. :-(

Loosely based on the Chinese novel, Journey to the West, the story follows the exploits of four young men making their way west to stop the revival of the demon king Gyumaoh.

I love this render, and you have all the links good, howeber, a lot of them are going to the same set, would be good to merge them into one, also PhilC item is not linked. Also I do have to ask, were smoke and flame effect added in the postwork, or are they used in the program on the plane with transparency?

I don’t watch Broadcast or cable TV, so I only watch movies and anime on DVD or online. Therefore, my pool of recognizable media is limited.

I’m not giving up. I just wanted clarification because I had an idea, and it involved a movie.
Actually, I have a ton of ideas. Like I wanted to do a “Fairy Tail” entry, an “Outlaw Star” entry, and a “Little Snow Fairy Sugar” entry… But a lot of that would require wacky hairstyles and clothing that can’t be had for free.
EDIT: I do have a few TV shows on DVD: all of SG-1, Farscape, and most of Firefly. I have a lot of anime on DVD as well, but as I said, my pool of commonly recognized media tends to be limited.

I have read this letter from David and I have tons of freebies there. However, I also host them on my 4shared site for free. Maybe some will now have to do the same, but then that would throw the freebie hosting business into a frinzy. Then they would start charging money to host too. This is REALLY going to have an impact on this challenge!!!!!!
Download link for the Stone Necklace prop seems to be working now. Did a retexture and quick render and she seems quite happy to have it. That or someone glued the TV to the ceiling.
