This is my thread :cheese:

I love everything Art and Design! My area is mainly 3D Modeling/Art, Digital Painting, Concept Design and Creative Writing. I've mostly focused on 3D for the last 3 years, and primarily work with Daz Studio and Photoshop.
Character creation and texturing, I must say, is among my highest interests. I'm working on building up my gallery on DA with intent to focus on Fantasy and SciFi genre.

    Couple of Digital Paintings... One is a Character/Costume concept artwork (Digital Painting/Sketch) Using a Genesis character for reference. The other was a Digital painting for fun, which I used as my FB banner lol) Again, using a Gn character in Daz for reference.

    And an early Rotation concept of the costume for the digital painting (Photoshop, Cell shading)

    A 3ds Max render I did... Re-creating the Resident evil Laser hall set. Took about 3hrs+ to render!!

    EDIT: Added the earlier RE Laser hall set I made from RE1 It was notably wider, had stainless steel walls and a much blue-er atmosphere. On high quality (6hr + render time) the stainless steel wall panels lost its reflection to a washed out appearance and didnt look right, so I re-made it to the other one. But here is the low res version with the reflections.

    I like the laser hall, only 3hrs in 3ds max, what kind of hardware do you have?

    LOL, I cut down the rendertime by turning the walls behind the glass from stainless steel to plaster boards, I also cut it down by setting the glow of the lights to created by the render instead of actual lights and of course altering the polygons... It was trial and error over months of work let me assure you! lol

    Trying out SickleYield's loincloth on tribal boy. It requires a little less post rendering work, but doesnt drape as well as i'd like though the center line :( like the other M4 one does. Sadly I cant get the M4 dynamic loincloth to work on this genesis guy at all, it goes all screwey.

    With sickles loincloth, createing un distorted textures is a little more complex too. I need a dynamic loincloth for genesis!

    Here is a test render of the Genesis Dynamic Loincloth.

    Works quite well, but the figure must be set at 'Full body scale 100%'

    Wow I LOVE that pony tail may I ask where you got it? I've been looking everywhere for a none-fantasy style that's just a simple, but detailed one like that! Great renders btw!
