I’ve been playing for a while and this what I’ve got so far…still a long way to go. I still have to add more detail to the skirt. Going to have a break for a while. I’m happy with the rough outline but I want to add more drapery type details to the hem and also around the waist. I’ve worked out how I’m going to do the brown belt now…hopefully it will all work.

Glad you like it! : ) It’s got a long way to go…I did warn you I’m slow at this didn’t I? Mainly as I don’t have a lot of spare time. I’ve stopped for today as I’m starting too overthink it. I still have to give the back a bit more shape and I’m debating about the hem and waistband how much movement it needs. Im thinking with the hem of doing a separate material zone so I can add fur either through displacement or using the new hair plugin as that will probably be out soon.
Do you have any other pics of this outfit? I really would like to see aback view and also if both arms are the same.
No unfortunately I don’t… I had a lot of trouble finding the reference images that I actually like. There’s sooo much “Dress-up” and ridiculously revealing clothing in the tribal genre. It was hard to filter what was appropriate and what wasn’t.
I imagine the back would be a little more rounded, and broad… Best pic I have is this one (The back view)
I really should get back into my concept art, and develop some designs so that they can be made. I’ve done lots of sci-fi and modern outfits… But nothing tribal :(

The ripples in the cloth are looking great, Love the thickness you got going… Many items I’ve used, thickness is overdone or neglected… Spot On!, I’m very glad you made the seam line too! Adds a really nice definition of detail!! My theory has always been, that if the mesh is modeled with all the details it needs, nothing need be painted on in the texturing, soooo much more realistic! Well done!

Here are some renders with a fur shader from the supersuit…but I believe it’s based on furrify which is based on my original shader I should be able to include some fur.
Unfortunately looks like it may need some extra mesh as the displacement looks like it’s ripping/distorting the mesh.

As I’ve mentioned earlier I still have a long way to go, there is so much I don’t know how to do yet!I agree that it’s good to have the details modeled in. I’ve also done some stitching for down the sides but I have to work out how to get it into DS. When I tried send it to ds it tried to make it into morph of the first bit…still have to work out how to fix that.
