Converted another character over to M5. Fighting the material settings though and I don’t think I’m gonna win; there’s a lot of burned in stuff on his face textures.
I’ve been trying to convert SAV Dante with GenX but It always mangle the eyelashes. How did you do it? If you are using GenX can you tell me which morphs you are transfering into a single morph.
I had to take it into modo to try to fix what I could. But, I ended up just hiding them. I think SAV’s morphs are the only ones that does that. Boris is totally unusable because the explosion is in the eyesockets. I may have to see if there’s something I can repair in the M4 morph before moving him over.
I didn’t have any huge problems moving Dante over with GenX—for some reason, the custom morphs move over a tiny bit easier than the M4 Morphs++ version—but his lashes are odd, yes.
EDIT: Yeah ... disregard previous post here. I just tried the lashes with Dante’s own body, GenX’d, and his lashes disappear into his head as the shape is dialed up. Happens with both the custom morph and the Morphs++ version. I tried using the different eyelashes morphs to lengthen them a bit, and ... my, that was ugly. With even very small values, they looped out of his eyelids and curled back on themselves, or with other sliders, wound up exploding out of the top of his head, which I hadn’t realized was even possible. With anyone else’s head and his textures (see below), they’re just fine. That said, lashes that disappear are preferable to eye sockets that explode. That had to be startling, to put it mildly.
