Hello,

I was just curious about something: How do you create a reflective surface, like a mirror or glass pane? Any suggestions/tips are appreciated. Thanks!

You have to use raytracing.

You shouldn’t need to adjust your raytrace settings, depending on what you are trying to achieve. Some settings are given in this tutorial:

an old forum topic gives some good tips too:

You can start by increasing the reflection setting of the surface under the Surfaces tab - increase that to 100% and see how that looks, you may need to adjust your lighting and don’t forget to put something in the scene to reflect.

I hope that helps.
