...a few end of week complaints
Been unbelievably hot for here. 100° yesterday (Thursday), 98° today. Agh!
Light rail trams running r-e-a-l s-l-o-w because of the heat.
Too hot to cook again tonight.
Work was h**l, this week and the warehouse literally felt like it.

Didn’t stop to get lunch on the way into work Thursday because the bus was 15 min late.
Spent about two hours tonight dealing with the forum log in issues.
Still haven’t found a set of optical drive rails that work with the case for my workstation.
Didn’t win the Megabucks
Someone won the Powerball (was going to buy a ticket for Saturday just for fun if the jackpot rolled over)

...and a few end o’ week non complaints
Took a bus from the west side instead of the “low speed rail” tonight.
Made my usual connection and arrived in the ‘hood in “record” forty three minutes.
Both buses were air conditioned (we have a lot of older buses that aren’t).
Stopped at the neighbourhood pizzeria and picked up a couple slices for dinner (Fennel Sausage & Cheeze).
Flat was nice and cool when I got home (have to find another place like this).
Felt good just to stay home instead of going out.
Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter is at the cinema-pub down the street.
Megabucks up to 4$ million (that’s about 120,000$ after taxes on the annuity plan).
