@TheCastellan, I haven’t tried it, but there’s a notebook computer at Renderosity: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/details.php?item_id=16627 .  There was a free MacBook I got somewhere, but don’t know where or if it’s still free.  If you have PoserWorld access, check there (but I don’t think I got it there.)  I’ve seen others around, along with PDAs if you are looking for something smaller.

@Kerya, @chohole, and @robkelk:  Thanks for the links, and the search term!  I’m checking through the links now.
Any idea if commercial renders using 3D warehouse buildings are allowed?  I’ve only looked at a few, they seem kind of hit-or-miss for quality, but I’ve found at least one so far that will work great for a background cityscape, hopefully there will be a lot more.
The radio is perfect.  The first link right after “Maybe for background use”, http://www.3dcadbrowser.com/download.aspx?3dmodel=1650 , would also have been good, although it says I need a different kind of account to download that one.

I’m looking for a conforming or morphing commoner’s deel (preferrably for Genesis)  (A deel is a traditional Mongolian’s outfit—yes, I know there is one for the Daz mouse, that one does not count)

Hello I’m trying to find the BVH files for the T-Rex or any dinosaur. I know there is something in a free section but a search comes up with nothing. Anyone have any idea where it can be found or have a link? Thanks.

I take it no one here remembers the fabric cog shader that was offered for free a couple years ago?

Not ringing any bells.  ShareCG isn’t helping you?  There were a lot of fabricator freebies there.

I like Bryce, DazStudio, Poser and Vue ... in alphabetical order. And I would probably like Carrara too, if I could find the time to become acquainted with it. Peace?

Actually, from personal experience I can tell you that you don’t need fabricator in order to use the fabricator shaders at Sharecg.

Opal that would be wonderful as there are some really nice ones…is there any special trick to use them or just a normal like other shaders?

Most of the “Fabricator” sets I’ve seen are mainly tiled-texture collections.

All of my free shaders can be used without Fabricator.

Just apply the preset to your item and it will work fine.grin
