yes now that you said about it…..I have that also! I didn’t even notice it until you brought it up because they were already dressed when I loaded them in. Wonder what caused that?
After cloer look at how they are put together….I know it is the scaling sliders that are causeing those issues. I had the same problem in my girl as I am making her I decided not to use the scaling dials(originally I did). The issue with my girls head when I used Head Propagating….her neck was distorted from the head in poser but not in Daz

Yep, it is! Ridges on the sides and back. Very odd.

If that’s from Poser, then it looks like a scaling bug on the torso length and arm length…

I think it is poser. It’s not a problem I came across in Daz.

Chest width on the girl, chest depth on the boy. Looks like Poser doesn’t deal with body part scaling very well. That picture also shows issues at the wrists (from Hand Propagating Scale) and ankles (from Foot Propagating scale), and I’d bet there’s something at the top of the neck if you look at it from just the wrong angle (Head Propagating Scale). I have no idea what’s going on with the upper arms.
well my fix was exporting the obj from daz and zeroing the whole figure except the scale and importing as a morph and ....etc….etc….etc. that how the right figure got into poser with out the problem….. so its definatly scaleing of separate body parts (scaling for the whole figure works ok though….
but exporting as the obj before hand made it exactly the same as the original so…...
Yeah, it’s Poser. It’s fixable with the morph brush but I haven’t been able to get Poser to cooperate for getting a Genesis morph out and back in again (via CR2 transfer to a pz2 or using software like an injection builder). I’ll try fiddling with it more to see if I can get to something of a fix morph. Realistically, if Poser had smoothing like DAZ Studio, it would probably be taken care of automatically.
Just thought I’d point out that it was May 25th when Thorne mentioned that his teens were coming “soon.” That means that next Sunday it’ll have been 6 months since we saw the first images, and in that time we’ve seen a half dozen commercial and freeware variants created and released from scratch.
Daz, what in the ****‘y blank **** are you waiting for? You just sent me ANOTHER 30% off coupon and if you put these out for Thanksgiving, I WILL buy them. Otherwise, there’s a lot of nice stuff at Rendo as they roll into their big Thanksgiving sales.
Here’s some hopeful speculation for you. In a thread somewhere MallenLane said that Hiro5 is what came from his male version of Hitomi. It blossomed into a full blown DAZ release with bundles of all shapes and sizes. Maybe, just maybe, that’s what’s happeneing to Thorne’s teens. Maybe PAs are beavering away at teen specific content and we’ll get bundles. Might explain why they are holding off so soon after the Hiro 5 release.
I do know many years ago talking to her that she had a hand in the original millenium kids/teens design. I was studying was to morph between them with in poser at the time….she was way ahead of me in her knowledge
