Can you use on Genesis a character/texture set meant for another figure, such as M4?

There are certain character/texture sets for M4 that I’d really like to get, such as Jonah. On the other hand, though, I’ve grown to dislike M4, with whom I nearly always encounter pokethrough problems, which I almost never encounter with Genesis. So could I use Jonah on Genesis?

I do not often use M4 texture, but if you want to use it,  I think you just change UVsetting.

surface tab>Edit manu>change “UV set ” value “Micheal 4”
then change or apply M4 texture same when you apply V4 texture for genesis.

is it not answer for your problem?

of course it seems best if you want to use “Jonah” texture (presets or files)
you would change genesis shape to Jonah shape,

and if you hope so,you need “generation X” plug in, (I think you need M4 shape for gensis,too, but I do not know it)
then make the character morph which can change the shape of genesis to “Jonah”.

(some guys tried to make M4 character morph (eg handsome guy for M4)) for genesis by ” transfer utility and M4 shape for genesis”, 
but it seems not so good for me..)
