When an .hr2 file invokes a .pmd file to load its morphs, older versions of Daz Studio are left out in the cold. (I think 4.5 handles these directly, but I haven’t tried that yet.) And the InjectPMD script doesn’t process .hr2 files. But the MorphExchange app does, building a new copy of the .hr2 file with the morph deltas inline. (Old copy saved as a .bak file.) Very useful for Mylochka freebie hairs.

It’s related to morphs—although it’s about getting to use morphs that are already present but inaccessible, instead of being about adding new morphs to an existing hair prop/character.
Categorization can be annoyingly recalcitrant, but sometimes you gotta just shrug, and get out the bigger hammer…
