Hi there - just doing a little inventory of my runtime, and I’m not seeing something I thought I already had. I’m looking for the bodysuit for Michael 2. Maybe I never actually had it, but I’m finding I have a need for it. I’ve looked thru the Daz marketplace and can’t find it. Maybe Daz doesn’t sell it anymore? Does anyone know where I can find it?

Thanks in advance for any help on this -

Steve

It was removed to the Vault, it may be made available again but I wouldn’t count on it. Unfortunately there is no other legitimate source.

Well that stinks. I was looking at a set of textures from Daz located at

http://www.daz3d.com/shop/concord-pathfinders/

And it’s exactly what I have in mind for a project. Unfortunately without the M2 bodysuit, they’re of no use to me. Okay, well thanks for the info….

Do you have the Michael 2 Bundle?  I think it was in that.

Unfortunately without the M2 bodysuit, they’re of no use to me.

All of the Concord stuff - there are several other packs - includes second skin versions of the textures for V3/M3 (they work on both), so unless you absolutely need the Gen 2 bodysuit it may still be useful. The example below was quickly thrown together with Concord Pathfinder skins on V3 and M3, the beret and cap and V3’s boots are from V3 Concord Elite. Personally I’d say Elite and Marines are more versatile than Pathfinders (particularly given the gear in Elite), while if you want a more dressy uniform Navy may give you more options.

If that option doesn’t suit, War Hammer http://www.daz3d.com/shop/war-hammer/ and Starship Crew for MOS Invasion http://www.daz3d.com/shop/starship-crew-for-mos-invasion/ may be worth looking at.

Hey, that looks pretty good!  By the time I got into things, M2 had been counted out a while….but I purchased him eventually because of a killer texture from Mec4D (which I think was free, or $1, which to me is free LOL - the texture is still at Mec4D’s store), and I keep an eye out for ways to clothe the poor dude!

Yeah, I’m not too keen on the second-skin look. But I must admit I do like the starship crew uniforms. And I already have MOS Invasion for M3. Hmmmmm….. perhaps a purchase is in order.

I like Bryce, DazStudio, Poser and Vue ... in alphabetical order. And I would probably like Carrara too, if I could find the time to become acquainted with it. Peace?

Just some random facts on this subject

The V3 versions do not include the Sam Brown belt.

The M2/V2 textures are for the REMAPPED bodysuit. Somewhere amongst all the concord stuff, the remapped suit USED TO BE included.

It is very easy to remap a wide variety of bodysuits to take these textures as they are simple front & back maps positioned side by side. Some detail will not survive this process and will have to be redone or edited out by hand. Especially near the seams

Texture Converter will NOT work on the M2/V2 maps

All the insignia are very low res. I wish someone would re do them or release something similar.

Another alternative would be to use the third gen figures as autofitted bodysuits for Genesis (Original idea courtesy of Ebahr)

The image below is M5 Benjamin with M3, with one of the Concord Pathfinder second skins, autofitted to him. The fit is so close you need to turn the covered parts of M5 off (and the head, neck and hands of M3), and it really needs a transmap at the neck where both textures need to show, but for a quick and dirty solution it’s not bad.
