You’re doing fine, Anne. Image Based Light (IBL), for which you need a High Dynamic Range Image (HDRI) is one of the simplest schemes to light a scene, particularly if you want to render with natural light as the movie industry does. You’ll get the hang of it in no time. Just don’t shy away from the fancy names.

Thanks Horo I’m surprised how simple some of the stuff is that looks really complicated & I’m encouraged by the help I’ve had here, nobody treats you like an idiot even when asking the simplest of questions. It’s good to have such a great bunch of people & I’m determined to learn as much as I can within the type of piece I want to produce. Not sure what that is yet as I’m still experimenting & I’m constantly amazed at what Bryce 7 is capable of in the right hands.
