I know what you mean Mike. I love my Reality but even on my NICE render PC I had built it still takes so much longer than DS does to get a finished render. So, I do not do many LUX renders unless I plan to leave my PC alone for at least 12 hours.
Wow great stuff. Michael is there any chance you could share your Jack Tomalin (Park/Westside) images in the JAS thread (see my sig for the link). Hospital is my fav, very crsip.

Thank you, posted as requested and theres more to come.
Pleasantly surprised how this one turned out, mused over it for nearly a week before committing it to render, baked to 1.96k samples in LUX. After 2 hours I suddenly thought maybe I should have put depth of field but maybe not, it good enough with out.
Good one Mike. Not too into the blue hair but I do like it as a full image.
I have some thing about blue or red hair, I went through hair set after hair set and just couldn’t find the right one, almost did her bald at one point.
This is a basic test of DOF and lighting, I used one soft box to the left with the snoot extended and a single mesh light to the right. I borrowed a method from another artist who`s name I forget, putting a null right in front of her left eye and setting the focus in reality on the null and the f/stop to 32 gives this nice soft focus with her face almost seaming to be 3d. Rendered to 2.5k samples.
I love these how did you guys bring out the pores in the skin and freckles because my model dont come out half as good as this and I’m using the fourth slider.

Im not rendering with 3delight in DAZ im using a bridge called Reality to export the files to LUXrender. Start a new thread asking for advice and the guys on here will be more than happy to help (me included) if you give more information than just a forth slider.
