Can only animate with viewport visible

edited December 1969 in Daz Studio Discussion

It seems that if I have DAZ minimised while rendering an animation, those frames are not rendered, and the resulting .avi file, while the correct length is jerky or only partial.

It's a bit of a problem if I can't do something else on another window during these lengthy animation renders, and I don't remember this being an issue in the past?

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong here?

Very grateful for any help or advice, as always.

If you are using the OpenGL renderer (any quality setting but the top) then DS needs the viewport to remain visible and unobstructed. If you are using 3delight then minimising shouldn't cause any problems.
