I have been chatting with the developer of a Kinect based facial tracker.  He asked me a question about DS4 that I could not answer so I will put it out to you all to see if anyone else knows.

He asked if DS4 is marker based, blendshapes or both.  Does anyone know the answer?

DS uses pre-made morphs to shape faces and create expressions. That’s blendshapes in other words.
