Lol some people are not so great at hiding their sarcasm and criticism in their own saccharin filled comments.

Once again your new is better idea is merely a brick wall and nothing more.  The time will come when your “new” becomes a thing of the past and some newer artists will come in and try to demean what you are as an artist because you are old school and you will understand just what you are truly doing by commenting as crudely as you are now.  Moving forward with these new figures is just the same as trying out the ones from the past, you are branching out and not pushing yourself into a corner with just one.

Do not insult users who love the older products with demeaning comments, it is only making things worse at a time when many are still healing from the chaos the Genesis figure caused just a few years ago.

I apologize, I did not mean to offend nor did I wish to insult anyone.  I was mearely stating my experience with Daz Studio 3/3Delight and my single-core computer rendering millennium environment.  I will leave this thread before I cause more harm or controversy.

Bye

You have done no harm in my opinion, I was commenting on other posts not yours. wink  I do apologize for the misunderstanding.  Your post was not demeaning believe me, just an honest comment about your experience with the program and I respect that and thank you for an honest response.

By the way Snowpheonix I am not a he, at least the last time I checked. smile

cecilia.robinson…... no I’m not a wise person, just someone who would rather see everyone just get along and enjoy what we are all capable of doing with each and every figure out there because that is what we are all here for isn’t it? wink  Thank you for the very kind comment.

You seem wonderful Cecilia, such a beautiful name too.  To me its this simple… don’t let anybody tell you “No” or what you can’t do or try and define anything about you if they don’t also have the authority to say, “Yes”  You are entitled to be wonderful and you are the superstar of your life.

Merry Christmas and Happy Rendering to you

Just a little trivia. The song was written by Bob Dylan and did appear on the album of the same name but Simon and Garfunkel also recorded it for their first album titled Wednesday Morning 3am.

I wondered if they had, and I have heard that album but not for a very long time, so thanks for nudging me to go seeking the Simon and Garfunkel version. smile

As far as I know, he composed the song, but my favourite performance is my this duet.

That’s right. You must know they better than I do, even though I listen to them most of my time smile.

Well, I’m not sure what are you referring to as for my humble person, thank you though. Still, I bet people would not agree with you, I just try to be honest and fair. Say something nice when you can, but also gently try to point something that can be corrected. Still, so many people don’t like that. I’m grateful to you both for your comments, but really, I’m just normal, nothing above, I guess…

FSMCDesigns, I too wonder why there are so many pictures. They look a bit random to me, but maybe they’re trying to depict some Fast Grab items? I don’t know, so I won’t dwell upon that, although I must say I’m a bit worried for people with slower connection, such pictures tend to load for a long time. Well, if the moderators don’t react, who am I to talk about that?

On a general note, I feel we’re getting a little bit off the topic. Weren’t we here to discuss Fast Grab?

Currently in Fast Grab, as I post this, are Silas M4, Rena V4, and Garden Escape Arbor Gate. I suspect somebody could make a nice romantic render with these three items, plus some clothes for the two people…

I decided to use older figures, just for the fun of it - I don’t think they look bad. smile

I like Bryce, DazStudio, Poser and Vue ... in alphabetical order. And I would probably like Carrara too, if I could find the time to become acquainted with it. Peace?

I also think its about time you guys start clearing out some of the really obsolete material in your archives.  I think the rule of thumb should be that its fairly safe to archive everything pre Victoria 4.

If you had been a forum member the last time DAZ 3D did do some archiving of old stuff you would know why that is an easy thing to say, but not a popular thing to do.

I don’t think it would be all that big of a deal if you put a specifically marked Icon…

Please add a “icon” on the product page to indicate “if the product will be show in the Smart Content” too.

That sounds marvellous. I like Smart Content stuff, but many great products don’t have metadata. Plus I’m too busy to make the additional files myself every time I get something new.

An “icon indicator ” for “DIM ready” will be very helpful too.
