I really love this new Zombie figure, but the rendering times are atrocious.  And I am on an Intel 6-Core.  Can anyone suggest what settings I need to use to speed this up.  Especially if I only want this character in the background, thus not needing all the HD.

Thanks.

I rendered it the other day in Reality in Poser, and I didn’t notice extended render times. Were you rendering the hair too?

The latest picture I am working on is pretty intense in terms of amount of figures and lights.  But if I hide the Long Dead figure it cuts my rendering down by easily over half the time.  My initial draft/proof renders normally don’t take longer than 10-15 mins give or take.  In my last render (Santa Claus vs. Zombie Apocalypse in the Gallery) I used Long Dead and duplicated the node for a few more of them in the background.  Pretty long render time.  I also noticed that the specularity on this character is really high.  The figure literally looked like it was glowing compared to everything else in the scene.
