Question about scaling

Well, another day, another problem, another question :-)

When I scale an object in Hex, it is scaled on both sides of the scaling axis. But can I lock one side somehow, so that one side stays in place when scaling? This would be very helpful for me, because now I always have to re-place the objects after scaling.
