The Autofit Tool work on CR2 files unless they are in my Daz Installation folder, it won’t work in my Poser runtimes.  Should I risk reinstalling it?

Location of the file shouldn’t make a difference - though if those are files in native DS format (.daz files) they may not be automatically fitting to the selected figure. If that’s the issue, right-click on the clothing, select Fit ... to from the menu, and in the dialogue select Genesis - the AutoFit dialogue should then open.
