I may get the award for the stupidest question but has all the good oil from the old thread (tutes, well answered questions, examples, etc) been tossed out or is it archived somewhere and still accessible?

Well, only time will tell if we ever get full and proper access to it, but you can find the old forum archives here
http://forumarchive.daz3d.com

The main problem is that the images in the posts are not being displayed, but are replaced with links that look like this:
a target=_blank href=“postimages/origimage_1_3399244.jpg”>postimages/image_1_3399244.jpg</a

To view an image you must prepend the “postimages/origimage_1_3399244.jpg” part with “http://forumarchive.daz3d.com/” so that it ends up looking like this:
http://forumarchive.daz3d.com/postimages/origimage_1_3399244.jpg

Then paste that line into the address field of a new web browser window to view the image. (Whew! what a pain!)

Thanks for the info de3an. I agree with Mark - a sticky statement about how to access and use the archive is a good idea.
