... WELCOME...COME ONE...COME ALL! ...

Welcome to the 6th annual June "Summer Fun and Pinups" freebie challenge. As usual, the theme is fun and pinups. You can submit any kind of summer fun, that could be anything, and/or a pinup of your favuorite character. You choose.

The rules are posted here:
http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/286/

Please read them good and try to stay within them, they will not change throughout this month, so please don't ask me to make any exceptions. Rules is rules. If you want to discuss one, feel free to bring it to the table here in this thread. We will all discuss it and reach a decission on anything.

We will have the usual "Bag the Hag" contest. This is where you take a drop dead gorgeous body character, and put a butt ugly face on them, then you hide it with my "Hag Bag" that can be downloaded here:

http://www.sharecg.com/v/52489/browse/11/Poser/Hag-Bag-Poser-Version

or if you prefer the .obj version here:

http://www.sharecg.com/v/34908/browse/11/Poser/HAG-BAG

Make your render, then post it with the bag hiding the face. There will be a vote later by comments of the people here, then three finalists will be chosen. Then we will unbag the three...OMG! We will then vote for a winner. That winner will get a nice prize of a $10 GC donated by robkelk.

Now...Prizes.

The usual monthly prizes for DAZ3D & Jaderail are still here:
1st Place - $15 GC from DAZ3D and $20 GC from Jaderail
2nd Place - $12 GC from DAZ3D and $15 GC from Jaderail
3rd Place $8 GC from DAZ3D and $10 GC from Jaderail
HMs - $5 GCs from yours truly; BWSman

I am looking for donations for prizes & Iwill do a texture set for a Genesis outfit made by Wilmap as an entry gift (more details to follow)

I am also looking for judges for this month

once again, I want to welcome all and hope to have a blast this year. Throwing pies is allowed...

~places pie on thread door so it falls on first visitor to enter; then tiptoes off~

...Sooooo, let's get ready to RUUUUMMMMBBBBLLLLEEEEE!!!!

THIS A TRIBUTE TO MUSIC 2U4U for his tireless work for the freebie challenge.

Ok, I have a question, please do not yell at me :d
If I use a free pattern seamless tile, to make material to put on the clothes, how should I count it? as a freebie, or no count?

As long as you can provide a link to it; it can be counted as a freebie.

    Nice render, Krissy!

Question: Pinups can be male or female? (Many of us would rather look at a hunky young man than a pretty girl.)

If you want to do a "beefcake" render instead of a "cheesecake" render, I certainly don't mind...

Krissy, what a great render! I like the lighting and love the use of pattern. She reminds me of some of the girls I used to perform with when I lived in Seattle.

    No Count:
    V4,
    morphs++
    v4 Weight Mapped
    Outfitter
    EZSkin
Luise Hair (past renderosity newsletter freebie)

The first entry; All your freebie links check out. However; your no counts have a few issues. First; according to the rules for this month; V4 Morphs++ count as a paid for item. Three other items (V4WM; Outfitter & EZ Skin) can be counted as freebies with a note stating that they are poser only.
The link for Louise Hair is here:
    http://www.renderosity.com/august-2012-newsletter-freebie-propschick-wolfie-cms-16276?&AID=408

I cannot accept your entry until you change Morphs++ to a paid for item. Also; please specify where the "Knitted Heart tiles" were used.

I am another one who got on the prize list with a male pinup, using Music's Hill Billy Shack.

It wasn't anything too scandalous. I used to do the occasional guest spot in some of my friend's burlesque shows in Seattle... Then I moved to NY last summer and got a job as a receptionist/admin assistant and my life isn't quite as exciting.

Sorry, not buying it without photographic evidence. (Of the burlesque, not the office.)
