Digital Art Zone

That Kreature of yours is a bloody miracle!
I just got it fully rigged and animated into Blender!!!

I have been trying dae imports of Daz characters forever and just tonight various unsuccesses of iClone characters for the beta test I am doing.
on a whim I tried Kreature
he came right in!!!

no idea what the factors for success are, the only iClone character that did not crash it came in mangled albeit animated
Daz characters come in weirdly animated and no clothes conformed
but Kreature perfect albeit axis wrong but I just rotated him

I am using Blender 2.6 & C8.5pro beta doing save as collada (not Daz collada)

I really like the Houdini animation you did, ..you got the ears bouncing from the NLA, which was cool.
I think I need to make some time and play with Houdini. maybe next month..
perhaps I also should also do some more NLA animations for Kreatcher.

just your included animation, no skill from me
only thing I did was attach the cloth to his skeleton so it conformed (and added a split)

just tried a browser shrimp I boned and rigged myself in Carrara, in Blender and it works too.

dunno why it hates the Daz and iClone rigging

I love my Daz family, They found me on the side of the road ( took pity on me ) and adopted me

lol! I got a Daz family too thx to Facegen on Genesis ( and a Reallusion one in iClone using photofit),,
done my late Mum, still have to get the driver for my scanner to work on my desktop to do my late Dad (or buy one of those usb negative and slide readers)
planning on bringing my family photos to life in 3D CGI.
However, my very much alive brother was not too impressed with the CGI version of himself.
his girlfriend even less impressed by the faceshop6EZ version of her!

there have been Carrara newbs popping up everywhere and I just know he has answers for their questions
esp on NLA clips and morphs and stuff.
