I’ve been lurking around here long enough.
Here is a link to a 3 minute teaser of my current animation project.
( So far I have about 20 minutes of animation done)
Never would have been able to do this with out everybody’s help on this forum.
So thank you all.
Warning it’s educational so It might be like watching paint dry.
( Though it does get a little more interesting near the end)
All modeled in Carrara, I don’t think there is any post effects aside from Titles.
Oh and this is very low res version, the real footage is sharp 1920X1080 HD
http://vimeo.com/66845337

Thanks again

That was completely awesome. James Clerk Maxwell just sent you a fist-bump from beyond the grave!

Very nice job! I didn’t think it was boring and found it very educational.

A still shot from an animation I’m working on. I will break the scene down so that I render in four layers so that I can composite them in FCP. The first layer will be the star field, the second will be the black hole, the third will be the asteroids and the fourth and final layer will be the Cygnus.

reminds me of that old adage, if you live in a glass house don’t throw asteroids smile
btw shouldn’t they have some moss on them?

Experimenting with Luxus.  I threw this together but then had some issues and couldn’t save it.

I don’t like the composition on this picture, so I’m going to re-do it and change some things up.

Wow.

On my work monitor, this is WAY too dark.

You haven’t seen the animation yet! A rolling asteroid gathers no moss!

Or is that, “in space, no can hear the moss?”

It looks as if you’re off to a good start. BTW, it’s pretty dark on my monitor as well.

looks like a good start, maybe you could drop the light vertically so that it illuminates the characters?

Wow! It’s been an entire week since anyone has posted on this thread!! I had to dig down to page 3 to find it! =D

Here is a WIP as part of a storyboard for a short story animation. Finally getting around to working with Genesis and animating characters. I am beginning to see why I have been waiting on this! =/

Used:
* Michael 5
* Valiant clothing (modified)
* Daz Horse 2
* Knightly Barding (modified)
* Lisa’s Botanicals (various)

No post-render editing was done.
