Poser Pro 2010 does not have weightmapping, so you cannot use Genesis or Native Poser wieghtmapped figures such as V4-WM or Miki 4. It also does not have Sub Surface Scattering. However, it does have a 64-bit version as you noted; the only other significant (to me!) differences between it and Poser 8 are render Gamma Correction, background rendering, and the plug-ins for more advanced 3D apps. If the 32-bit Poser 8 has been adequate memory-wise for your scenes, I’d get Poser 9. I myself use PP 2012, which can be gotten for $149 until the 31st…..
Sorry, but don’t you mean Poser 9 doesn’t have the full weight mapping functionality? In fact, there’s scads of stuff that Pro has that’s not in P9.
btw, they both are supposed to have subsurface scattering.
