That’s right. Placing it in the “pose” folder enables D/S to “see” it, so one can click on it and load it. .pz3 files include a bunch of poser lights and cameras of course which then need to be deleted from the D/S scene but that’s not a problem.

Concerning sharecg.com - last time I uploaded some stuff I actually read the latest “by uploading you are….” notice. So HU, one “has to” be able to “make money” off of whatever they’re uploading there. In not having a paypal button, not subscribing to any form of pay-per-click, previously I had made it quite clear that no monies were involved with my shares. I have asked of some others who are into sharing free ST items and with the new setup for sharecg.com the majority are claiming that’s a no-go. Dave has had my pages “add-free” and they work so much better that way so while I’m looking forward to continued use of the site for shares, won’t be for ST shares. I’m considering one of the established ST sharing websites for future items.

Tony"ll be glad to have them. I post just about all of my freebies there. Xcal needs more visability. Not many folks know it even exists.

Has anyone else received a Daz newsletter about the Genesis for Poser package? I did and went to get it, but I’ve got a question. The DSON Importer comes in both 64 and 32 bit verisons.
I’m running Windows 7 in the 64 bit verison- BUT my Poser 9 is a 32bit program. Which importer do I download?

I’m no expert, but I suspect that you need to get the 32 bit version.  The original Poser Physics only worked in the 32 bit versions of Poser, regardless of your operating system.  I speculate that this is a similar situation.

Yes, plugin bit depth must match the application that hosts it, rather than the OS.

I admit it:  I’m a Poser poseur.  [grin]  Now, if I can just get that last file to download . . . .
