Totally agree.. idiots are everywhere these days *and* they seem to be multiplying..

You are close to one of my fundamental thesis:

The intelligence on the planet is constant, just the population is growing!

not entirely happy with this one, it was just an experiment in 2012. There are no lights used in this image and no post work.

i don’t like the shadows on her face. The advantage of using objects as light sources is that you get light coming from realistic places, in this case from the overhead florescent lights, the disadvantage is you don’t have the controls you have with using regular lights, you can’t adjust the shadow settings or AO or anything. I did this just to see what an image with no lights would be like. I think a combination of the 2 techniques would work well.

Yea - I agree.. it’s a good starting point to quickly light most of the scene, but it’s a bit flat .... like you say, a few lights in there will sort that out a treat wink

yeah, it was just an experiment, i wanted to see what the ambient objects could do and i was curious to see what a scene with no lights would look like. Hmmm maybe I should have used a Curious hallway…

Some times you just got to try stuff out and see what happens
