Sorry I have not been in here lately. Been busy in real life with an injury I received on my left ankle. I opened a carosel of new DVDs, 100 count, and took one out…then I screwed the top part back on, but it didn’t screw on correctly and when I let the bottom go, the carosel fell out with all 99 DVDS and landed at an angle on my left ankle. The edges of the discs are very sharp like a knife blade, and it cut off a huge hunk of my skin…about three layers deep. Completely cut it off. I had to go to the hospital and have it attended to. The pain I was in all last week was tremendous. The bandages stick to the open wound and it kills me to have to tear them off to replace then daily. Just so much pain…some of the worst I have ever experienced in my life. I contacted the store I bought them from and they inspected the carosel and said it was find, that it was my careless mistake….and it was. I wasn’t paying attention to what I was doing.
So, a heads up to you folks…be careful when dealing with large bundles of discs, the are heavy and will cut you to the bone if dropped on you.

Maybe this will help. It helped me when I would get tired after hours of physical work. I would tell myself this and continue on working without needing breaks….

OUCH!! Sorry to hear that happened to you. I can understand what you are going through; having to have dealt with a diabetic foot ulcer for over a year. It will heal up. Keep a positive attitude and keep smiling.

So sorry Music on your accident. I don’t know if this would work for you but when I was experiencing the monthly curse a friend told me to take Magnesium and that would help the pain. To my surprize it did. Those months that I was lazy I noticed my pain tolerance was a lot lower. So go eat some bran muffins with chocolate chips, almonds and pumpkin seeds.

MUSIC…. what are you doing going out and getting hurt like that… take care of yourself my friend, I’m sorry to be so absent lately, after getting really really sick I got a bout of depression that took over and I’ve been just eck lately, I will come back and make sure things got taken care of for last month this week,
