Autodesk is offering the special 90-day license for 3ds Max and Maya (offer ends tomorrow I think) for $199. That’s something that was unheard of only a year ago.

Wow. So a shortterm company can buy a license for the time needed. I’ve heard of this with some installation/theater software, but never for graphics software. I’m sure this is something the industry has been demanding. Interesting.

I believe it ends today. If it was successful, maybe they’ll make it a regular deal. Who knows.
